I have donated there for over a year and have had issue with high blood pressure readings. I am constantly deferred for high blood pressure. Yet my doctor gets normal reading when I go to him. Biolife will not do a manual reading. I am going to CSL because they will do a manual reading and I will pass and be able to donate. You may pay more. But if I can not donate, I do not get paid. I will go where I can donate and get paid.

I’ve been donating plasma for a while now and have never had an issue. Everyone at the center is very nice and things move smoothly. The last donation I made was rough. The girl who stuck me was a nice as could be but was struggling to find my vein which is uncommon as I am very fair and very veiny and you can see the typical spot that gets used. I ended up with a hematoma that has been very painful and unfortunately I work in a business that requires me to use it constantly and I work out 5 days a week and haven’t been able to. I understand that it is something that can happen and although she was very nice definitely seemed inexperienced

I like the convenience of the Bio Life I go to however, the staff is in efficient. Waiting up to 15 minutes to be disconnected after a donation while the staff laughs and plays together. So very annoying.

People at the facility are great although getting sick of the consistent decrease in pay, considering that there is no chance that BioLife is lowering the price it's charging when they sell the plasma, it would be nice to have some consistency. Yes, they are using donations to save life's but they are profiting as well....pick a level of compensation and stick with it.

I enjoy helping and giving plasma but they need to work on the schedules. It take 1-2 hours past your appt time to get seated and start the process. They don’t have enough staff to handle the appointments. Facility is very nice and the staff are friendly but I feel bad for the staff seeing as they don’t have the help needed. Hope they fix this issue.

Lately there has been unusually wait times to get checked in and again to get in a chair and then again to get hooked up. Frustrating as you see staff walking around, chit chatting with one another seemingly ignoring donors that are waiting. On top of that, the last time I donated there was problems with the "new machines" where it was allowing my blood to be returned. They said it was a technical issue with new machines and even though not my fault, I now have to wait 8 weeks to donate again. Lastly, payment structure is inconsistent and lately so low that I'm considering not going until tehy offer a want you back "promo".

3 to 4 hour wait. Never enough staff for amount of doners. They had one person for 12 beds.. I complained that the 3 people in line behind me got hooked up and I was still waiting and a employee told me that since it was a voluntery program I was free to leave.... All the staff besides that guy are wonderful but wait time gets longer and the amount paid gets smaller and smaller.

They were polite, but neither of two people could hit my vein just right. It was extremely painful and they left me bruised so I couldn't give again for weeks.
