The machine malfunctioned and I got deferred for 8 weeks, then the lady was so happy clapping her hands so she could show some new people a code on the machine,

East Madison WI BOOOOO! :( :( This place used to be great and WAS very good, fast, helpful, moving people thru and a very relaxed donation process. NOT anymore. Now we are over booking the appts, we are herded thru there like cattle. so there are alot of people set up for the same appt time. Alot more people to deal with. and we are forced to be very close together. Covid is still a factor for me, not very safe there anymore. I've had to turn around and leave twice now in 2 weeks as there is 14 people in line waiting for vitals. with only 2-3 staff taking vitals, which is not enough for that many donors. I didn't have that amount of time. kids are at daycare, other appts are set up to get to, kids games are happening, dinner's cooking etc. I was last there for 2.5 hours, last time I donated and it takes me about 40 min to ACTUALLY DONATE. The remaining the other 50 min was all waiting. It took another 10 minutes to wait to be unhooked, because of staff shortages. Anyway, It is unreasonable and unacceptable to me to allot 2-4 hours for this donation that I'm trying to help people with. what's the use of appts.? they are never honored now. We are not cattle. We are human beings. This demonstrates no respect for people's time. there are kids who need picking up at daycare, there are other places we need to be on time, dinner cooking, etc. Also this last time I was there, they pulled me in the nurses room to lecture me about fat lipids. I've only had the problem once or twice. After that I guess they drew protein from me to send off without informing me at ALL, and then when it was time to get my $90 second donation a few days later, the sample hadn't come back yet from wherever and they wouldn't let me donate. so their problem became my problem! @!*6^#~@@@*^@ Are you kidding me? I was upset, as I had NO IDEA OF this sample. why did they let me donate at all that first part of the week if my protein or lipids were off???? makes no sense. So I lost out AGAIN on my 2nd donation of $90 because of things THEY are doing. I want my $90 that they ripped off from me. I just dread going there now as you have to spend 2-3 hours at something that used to take about an hour or hour and a 1/2. It's a big PLUS that the staff is still wonderful, doing their best, but even more overwhelmed. The manager needs a wake up call. Be more respectful to your donors and their personal time.

First I'd like to say the facility in Joliet, Illinois is spot on professional. However, the facility in Janesville, Wisconsin goes out of their way to bruise you so that you cannot complete the 2 donations for the week for the current campaign dollar amount. The more you keep coming, the higher the weekly campaign is. In Janesville, I complained to the director about a woman who gave me a 3 week bruise and they suspended my donations at that facility out of retaliation. I thought this life saving plasma was a big deal (or so Joliet, IL tells me). It's a sure bet that Janesville, WI employees would never survive their first hour if sent to Joliet to work. This is unprofessional to turn away a donor when plasma is so badly needed, all because I called them out on bruising folks on purpose. Don't go to the Janesville, WI facility. Go to CSL in Beloit, WI (only 20 minutes south of Janesville) for all of your donations. Stay away from the BioLife in Janesville, WI. Nasty folks and questionable practices going on there for sure!!

Employees very unprofessional talking to each other while people were waiting. I filled out the forms and one of the questions asked if you were taking certain meds. When I answered yes the machine should have stopped me from 1 filling out the rest because I couldn’t donate and 2 not make me wait for a physical for someone to tell me I couldn’t donate. I was there from 11:20-2:30. I was also skipped over for my exam so I waited an hour for that than answered more of the exact same questions to be told I couldn’t donate.

This location is doing solicitations under knowingly false pretenses I received an email saying I could earn $500.00 in 4 donations with the initial donation being completed by 5-28-23. I went in on 5-24-23 and was told the first available appointment would be 6-4-23. I asked would they still honor the coupon and was told yes they would. I went in for my appointment on 6-4-23 and was told they could NOT honor that coupon but had some other one but it involved additional donations. How can I start a long term relationship with an organization who lies from the very beginning ? Shameful
