I love the people that work at the Denton Biolife. I have only been to this plasma center. I feel they are over worked and under paid. The last month that I have came in I have had to wait 3 plus hours to donate. I started going during the day cause in the evening we would get turned away with a coupon when we need our donation amount. I am considering taking a break. This has happened all of November.

Some of the staff is friendly but sometimes they seem to talk to each other them the donors. The last lady who did my BP and poked my finer asked me my name but never talked to me again. If I go early the time wait is not to bad but if you go later then it’s like a hour for finger stick and a hour to hour and a half. That just to long to wait.

I think as a means to help people and make a little money, Biolife can work for some people. I was able to donate for a whole month and then suddenly my heart rate was too high and my red blood cells rose too high. I am not sure if it was due to donating too often, but I have had to back off considerable. The other thing that is really annoying is the debit card. It isn't excepted a lot of places and to withdraw from an ATM will cost you money, even though they say there are no charge ATMs I have yet to find one.

I noticed several people leaving because of different reasons not qualifying. I was one of them. After waiting for an hour and standing in line listening to rock music it is hard to keep blood pressure and heart rate down. I would suggest Better music. Benches to sit on and maybe less people at appointment times would help with this

Arrived for 10:30 a.m. appointment, left at 12:45 p.m. Don't know why they over book when they don't have the staff to handle clients. I was in line for over an hour before being able to donate.

They are ok but on the referral promo I referred someone they got money but I didn't...I think I should have got something because I was the one who's did the referring

The staff are so friendly and working so hard, but the facility is understaffed, especially with the new machines that are faster but with all the waiting I am honestly there longer than I was with the old machines

Most of the donations I have done went well, but all take alot longer than they need too!! Why do you have to make an appointment when you never get in at that time?? Most donation appointments take at least 1 1/2 hours. They are way under staffed and they over-book the appointments., My last appointment I sat in the chair for 40 mins and finally got up and left. I can't take that much time out of my day every week.
