I would of gave zero stars if possible. I want start by saying I accepted to do 4 donations for $400 for 4 donations in a month. I made two donations with no problems. I went donate on July 20th 2023 and was declined due to someone losing my speed blood test from what the manager told me. The manager that was a phlebotomist had to redo my speed blood test that same day with no donation. They called me on August 4th 2023 and said I can donate again. I donated on August 5th and only received $40 instead of $125. The manager should of extended my donation time for someone's clerical or clinical mishap with my speed blood work. I called and spoke to manager named Roberta about the issue and she said she would fix it the problem was not fixed. I called several days in a row no answer during business hours and left a message no one got back to me. I came on 8/23/23 spoke to Ryan again. Ryan tells me my first speed blood work finally showed up. Its crazy how it magically appeared out thin air. After argue about my under payment I was told by Ryan the manager to go "f my self" and I am no longer a loud to donate there.I do not know how this hot head got a manager job with language like that and poor customer service skills. Poorly managed. The wait is like 5 plus hours or more for a return donation. I got ripped off for $85. I guess the managers need the money. My family and friends will not be returning to this location until that manager Ryan is fired for his unprofessionalism. I do not recommend donating at this location for donation. We will going Grifols until he is terminated

Stay Away from Biolife, McKnight Road!
I am currently sitting outside the Biolife location on McKnight Road that has,for the second time(by the same staff member) said I don't have an appointment, despite the fact it showed up on my Biolife calendar, and in a reminder email from the site. No explanation, no apology, simply a smirk on his face, saying nope I have no appointment. After I drove 45 minutes in rush hour traffic to get here.
I guess Biolife feels like they have enough donors to fill in the gaps of people they either injure, or treat disrespectfully.
Although there are some staff members who act professionally, it doesn't make up for those who are rude, and actually put donors' health in danger.
Here has been my experience so far at this location:
First time, I was there for over 4 hours. Technicians were nice, and were attentive when I became dizzy. They recommended I eat as close as I can to my appointment, since it can take so long.
Second appointment: Came in, not sure what to do. Staff members ignored me. Person in line said I had to wait at the desk. Waited 20 minutes until someone came over. He said I couldn't have my appointment, because I was 15 minutes late! I came back later that day.
Third appointment/donation: My fingerprint didn't register. When someone finally helped me(the nurse who performed my physical the first day) she was actually wonderful.
The technician was terribly unprofessional and caused me physical and emotional distress. He was flailing around to different machines, setting them up with no gloves on. He was pounding on different donors' beds, I guess those he recognized. He kept announcing how tired he was, and yelling to other technicians. When he finally came over to take my blood, he somehow missed my vein and had to dig around. He showed me his fist and, thinking he was saying I should squeeze, I asked if I should keep a fist or start pumping my hand. He gave me a dirty look and said, " When I want you to do something, I'll tell you."
When the blood finally began to be collected, I could tell by the machine monitor that it was going really slowly. Then the technician came over, and asked if my arm was hurting. When I looked down, I saw that blood was flowing out of my arm. The technician wiped it off and kept the needle in that arm, despite the fact it was continuing to bleed.
He finally switched arms. My arm was left with excessive bruising.
How can an establishment that performs potentially harmful medical procedures on people be so reckless with its donors???
Today: Although my appointment showed up on the calendar downloaded from the Biolife app, and I had a reminder email, when I tried to sign in at the station, it said I didn't have an appointment.
After waiting about 10 minutes, the same staff member who told me I was too late for the other appointment, said I didn't have an appointment, despite the fact it showed up on my calendar, that was downloaded from the Biolife app. When I showed him the calendar, he smirked and said, "There's no appointment here." So I drove 45 minutes, in the rain, in rush hour traffic to be turned away?! I can't help but suspect the arbitrarily deleted it because, as usual, they were understaffed.
I guess they feel like they can treat donors badly, because others will always be there to fill in the gaps. I thought I was performing a service, while getting compensated, because I was helping to serve a need for plasma. No? Are they just trying to make money?
Or maybe, when donors get closer to the amount of donations they make for their bonus, they make it miserable for them so that they'll quit coming before the hit the milestone.
How sad it is, that they would turn a service that is supposed to help people into such a negative experience. Shame on Biolife!!
Update: I just received an email from Biolife that I missed my appointment for today!

WORST Donation Experience Ever!.
Sorry, NOT sorry to give a one star review. I don't know how Biolife survives in this incredibly competitive industry with all the people they frustrate and turn away. EVERYTHING is more redudant and difficult just to get signed-on with them YET, they have what anyone would consider, DANGEROUSLY INCOMPETENT staff. AND, they constantly make excuses when confronted about their broken appointment and checkin system, the long lines because staff didn't show up to work, and how stressful the entire process is. I don't think they ever really check and re-calibrate when needed their screening equipment. They've literally sat up machines wrong in my presence and all they can say is "Sorry".
FDA inspects donation centers atleast 3 time annually. They need to setup permanent offices at Biolife Facilities to monitor serious complaints from donees.

Can you do less than a 1
Can you do less than a 1? Most horrible experience in Bloomington Indiana. Nobody returns calls or emails. Wasted at least 6 hours of my life trying to be a new donor. Supplied requested doctors info for it to never get reviewed. Even after I was notified to come back to donate. Rude staff that just don’t care about the person in front of them. Don’t waste your time. They’ve wasted plenty of mine.

This is a personal rating of BioLife…
This is a personal rating of BioLife Plasma donation center in American Fork, Utah. Trust me, don't go there. They treat donors and workers like cattle, moving them from station to station, with long waiting lines. I was unfortunate enough to have to drive 90 minutes to get there, only to find out that that the head doctor "said" he hadn't received the required consent from my doctor, who had e-faxed it on four separate occasions to him! What inept people! It seems to me that all they are interested in is the lucrative millions of dollars of profit they take in monthly, that goes mostly to the company execs, so they can live the high life. Shame on them. If you want do donate plasma, just go to your local Red Cross and do it. Forget this outfit. You'll save time, hassle and have an enjoyable experience.

Wasted my time and gas going there this morning. I read no coffee and drink plenty of water. When I arrived they asked if I had eaten and since I had nor, was turned away. No money no gas, no food I have requested ti know the correct amount of food to have before my appt so when I return, it will not happen again.
