09/09 I believe. Second time I had a blown donation due to bubbles in tubing shutting down the machine. They did'nt come from me. What actually finished the process was clots forming in the tubing. The second time the process was about half way complete, so I lost an amount of whole blood, and they had to treat it as a donation of whole blood. For whatever reason I have been put on a 60 day suspension of donating,( Nov. 14.) Usually a donation of whole blood can be done every 30 days, so I don't get why 2 months. They assured me I did nothing to cause it, but no further explanation. At this point I don't know if I will go back or not. D. Johnson

My experience was horrible , the lady that took my vitals could find my veins and she still passed me, then when I was in the donation bed the stuck my left arm twice then my right arm once and I ended up almost passing out and losing a lot of blood, then I went back to give them another chance and they stuck my left arm again once and failed to find the vein then stuck my right and a failed and keeped moving the needle around in my arm until they found it and it was so painful, I’m never going back there!

This is a truly terrible business, from both an ethical and a business operational perspective. They claim to do good, while actually manipulating and taking advantage of clients, many low-income who are knowingly willing to be manipulated in order to get this money.

Crappy... totally. The wait is crazy... appointment is a joke. Some of the techs spend more time socializing with each other than getting donor's out the door. The trainees should be on floor until properly trained. Got stuck twice bye same guy that had to get someone with experience. Lost out on $100 pay because another trainee screwed up my initial screening because had no blood in tube and I was cancelled due to ...to much hydration... Completely a joke...they get paid over $1500 a bag of plasm. For chump change then call you a hero. I call myself desperate

Once again their machine had a “glitch” and now I can’t donate for another 8 weeks again! Glitch my ass, the reset those machines go to fast and don’t get all the lines hooked right. In the meantime I’m out over 1700 bucks.

I used the bio life contact us center for bad customer service. I was approached minutes later while in the middle of donating by the employee I had a problem with. I don’t think it’s fair that I didn’t get to talk to someone about my bad experience. And was approached While donating with bad attitude that made my heart rate speed fast.

Webster, TX What is the point of setting an appointment time if the facility cannot meet the demand? I will not waste three hours of my day because of the incompetency of your staff to move people through the process. It all starts with the management not monitoring who is doing what and just what through the floor area from one office to another. I have been to other Biolife centers numerous times. This place is run inefficiently.
