Bonus Scam for Me
I'm starting to see that the bonus is a scam. They "lost" my original blood test from 17 days ago and now I will need to submit another one and wait 7 days for the results, which will negate the bonus. Their lab lost my bloodwork, and now they won't honor the bonus because it will be after the 30 days. How convenient.

I had a 9:15 appointment and its 10:33 and I just got started donating. For some reason I was skipped over by three people that were behind me in the line to start with. Here lately the wait times are getting longer and longer.

Very inefficient
"appointment time" 4:15, arrived at 4:10 to scan in. Webster, TX. 12 peeps in line to check vitals, 24 in line waiting for a bed. Standing for 2 hrs 14 minutes before getting a bed-phlebotomist Ricky murmuring about his bad day and flirting with other donors while milking the clock resulting in me laying on the bed from 6:24 to 7:16 before being poked.....totally unacceptable. No since of time value and I will not go back and no longer invite others to participate at this facility. Was on a promotion for a monthly timeline and 2 weeks prior, waited for 35 minutes to check-in and was denied because I was Late????? 40 minute commute to leave without donating......Was not able receive the higher payout for the last donations because of their inefficiency. No respect for donors....

BEWARE
BEWARE! BEWARE! Biolife failed to screen me for hepatitis C antibodies. Their voice message says they will contact you back. I left 4 messages with no return call, is there some reason they are no longer communicating with me? Seems shady.
Biolife unfaily put me on an NDDR LIST (National Deferral Donor Registry list) with no physical proof of a reactive (positive) Hepatitis c antibodies test. They went on a verbal. Is this even legal? When I tried to provide proof of a non- reactive hepatitis c antibodies test, they refused to look at it. I tried to explain that I had a false positive test... that it was a lab error. She refused to listen to me or, better yet, had no empathy to try to help me. The nurse at Biolife treated me like a criminal. This rude nurse tells me NOT TO YELL AT HER after I got upset being told I can never donate blood again. She begins to tell me I am now on a permanent deferral, and I have been added to the national deferral donor registry list. She tells me there is nothing she can do for me. There is nothing I can do. it's PERMANENT AND FOREVER. YES! PERMANENT AND FOREVER. SO. Biolife can put you on a list where you can never donate blood for yourself (as a source of income) or for sick family or spouse. YES, BIOLIFE HAS THE POWER TO DO THIS. TO BAN YOU FROM EVER DONATING BLOOD AGAIN WITHOUT ONE SINGLE DROP OF EVIDENCE. Biolife does not appear to have a hepatitis c antibodies screening in place, or at least they did not in my case. This is not good or is pretty questionable. Is it possible for anyone to walk in there, even tho they may not have active hepatitis c they could have antibodies? Whenever you are exposed to hepatitis c, you get antibodies for life. I asked Biolife if they tested my antibodies, and they said no. They only test with an RNA (which is strictly to test for active hepatitis virus). Biolife tells me there would be an internal investigation, and they would place me on temporary deferral until I got this straightened out with my healthcare provider. Instead, they put me on PERMANENT DEFERRAL WITHOUT EVER ONCE CONTACTING ME. BIOLIFE MADE ME FEEL LIKE A CRIMINAL EVEN THO I HAVE NEGATIVE HEPATITIS C TEST RESULTS, HOW CAN THIS BE LEGAL? As of today, not one representative from Biolife has contacted me. This occurred at the Riverside location.

Got told that I may have an STI from a test result stating that is known for giving false positives. After the on staff physician “reviewed” my result told me I could come back, but didn’t take the hold off my account. Because of this, I lost a week and a half from the promotional offer to go pay for more STI testing and even though it was their error, they couldn’t extend the promo offer, stated corporate marketing ‘policy’. For the missing $280 that I lost because of this, they gave me a $50 oopsies offer.

The Managements lack of capability in hiring, training, and retention of their employees is deplorable.
Their appointment structure (or complete lack of) with a now normal wait time of an hour to 90 minutes before you get to a donation bed is not extremely frustrating as its apparent that they DO NOT CARE about DONORS TIME!!
Been coming here for almost 8 years and sadly and unfortunately watched the standards only go right down the drain!
