You will be waiting over 40 min at LEAST. Unless you go really early 6 or 7am.
So as any place nowhere is perfect. I've had bruising from the needle, I've been turned down before, I've even had the whole donation process take 3 hours! But after all that I still go from time to time. I put a hold because I don't want permanent damage from going to often and to just let my body heal. To me its worth it. I can get paid to save lives. Of course I wish the compensation was more but don't we all. I've had a good experience. Yes waiting is part of life. These people are booked out of their minds. Could improvements happen? Of course! I keep going back because to me its easy money to save a life. The needle insert hurts at times and THEY REALLY NEED TO DO BETTER AT THIS. ( So if you are afraid of needles don't come here, unless you are looking to overcome that fear.) And another, they just need more staffing. But all this to be said, I recommend it. But you have to go in knowing that you might be late to the next errand because there is a lot going on. I wont give this a 5 stars because logistics to need to change or have improvement of the building, but I will keep going as long as they let me. Also one more thing...Find a location that is closer to you so just in case that you get turned down for any reason. Saves you time. And make sure that you are hydrated to minimize the chances of being turned down.
