Went in for 1st time donor Physical Appt. at Milwaukee location on Silver Spring Dr. & got there 24 mins early for appointment. Checked in & received the Red Card right away. Then I sat ignored for 1hr & 15 minutes, no one let me know where i was in queue or nothing. I got fed up & left, at least they could have given me common courtesy to let me know what was going on or some updates. They truly don’t know how to treat people properly at this location. I decided to donate at a different company where it went relatively quickly & smoothly and at least someone was touching base with me every once in a while. Do not go to BioLife as they are managed poorly.

Staff are unfriendly and crabby. I asked a question regarding a medication and the nurse was very rude and responded as if I was bothering her. Being a nurse myself, it is sad to see staff treat people this way. People come here to help others, I feel they should be greeted with a warm comforting smile and kindness. I wouldn’t recommend this center for people to donate.

Their vital machines are not correct. I go to the flint location. Same station had several times had denied me for a high heart rate.l (112 and 114). I monitor my heart rate and blood pressure with a brand new medical cuff. Never is it over 90 even at Drs. After checking in car twice after denying heart rate was at 78 and 82. I even counted my rate before taking test this last time and got the same number (78). I won't waste my time here ever again. The wait is always terrible and one time they messed up putting needle in. It hurt and i felt like I was going to pass out. My arm was horribly bruised for two weeks.

Very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful.I will never recommend to donate at this place!!!

They ask you to set an appointment but apparently the “appointment” doesn’t mean anything, because I set no an appointment but when I arrived there were 30 win line and not enough stations or techs to take the appointments they had scheduled. In the end I was there for 2 hours, which was not very convenient.

Staff is unprofessional causing drama amongst staff and donors talking about each other. Management had a blind eye for whoever kisses their but treating donors and staff aweful. They yell at people make a scene and the safest part it's the staff more then donors!

URGENT!!! "DO NOT COME HERE!!! I thought I would make extra money for Christmas on my day off so came to this location. They do not change their gloves, even if you ask them kindly after they assist other donors. I asked a lady with a hijab to change her gloves before she attended to me. She yelled and said she was not going to. She took me off guard. I thought why is she yelling? I asked her kindly again asking to please change them, but she continued to refuse. I explained to her that my concern was that blood can transmit disease-like aids, and it is important to use clean gloves when working with blood and taking care of multiple donors. However, she became angry and yelled at me, refusing to change her gloves. She looked at me with so much hate. She then told me to go back to the end of the line. I was in disbelief and shocked at her behavior. She then said I'm not dealing with you!!! She called a young man and asked him to assist me instead. However, he didn't listen ignored my concerns, and sided with her. He said it was not in the policy to change them even if a donor asked, In the end, I left feeling very disappointed, frustrated, and concerned for other donors. I want to warn other donors that this facility may not take the necessary precautions to ensure their safety. I will not be returning to this location and encourage others to consider their options carefully before donating here." Now that I'm here at home writing the review I believe she might have been discriminated against me because I'm a Christian. I was wearing a big cross on my cap and she was wearing a hijab. I will be praying for her. I forgive her because she is blind to her actions. She needs to be written up for failing to go through health protection procedures to protect donors and remind her she needs to treat and speak to donors professionally. Yelling and acting erratically toward a Donor should not be allowed no matter our background and religious beliefs.

I used to go here regularlyand thien i moved and they wouldnt let me go to the cwnter i moved by and they were trying to force me to drive really far to the old one i called every single day for weeks and they never transferred me. One day all i said was cmon guys this is BS just let me go to the new center. And then this grown woman on the other sude said on no theres no cussing on the phone youre banned! Smh. This place is BS
