Horrible wait time
The people are nice at the Independence location but the wait time is horrible. Last two times I walked out because I knew it was gonna be a 2 hour wait before you even sit down to donate.

So they “got me” with the make $700 for your first 8 visits new donor promo. Only after my third appt they told that they’d have to send my blood sample in for a closer look at my protein levels and that results are 7-10 biz days. Okay, I’m sure they’ll still honor the promo right? Nope. All 8 have to be in one month for you to receive your bonus money for donations. That’s pretty crappy I think. Not worth the hassle now.

The company can approve by hiring more workers. It’s nothing now to go into the BioLife in del city Oklahoma and be there for 2-3 hrs every time. I use to be to get in and out in little over an hr. Sometimes right at an hr. But now there’s so few workers that it’s not worth going and spending 3 hrs of my day there. Love to donate but not when it takes 2-3 hrs.

I attempt to donate twice a week. Went to the Eau Claire biolife last night, had 520pm appt had to wait in line for figure poke for over 1 hour. It appears that they are having issues retaining help, totally understandable as it seems to be the norm today however maybe they need to cut back with the number of donors coming at the same time. Several people left as they could not wait for at least one hour to start the donation process. Maybe they need to cut back on the number of donors during the more popular hours. People were very unhappy and it took me 2 hours from start to finish, nothing quick about donating last night.

The wait is absolutely ridiculous. Last month the wait just to get a bed is an hour or more. I don’t know if they are that short staffed or over booking appointments. Either way, something needs to be fixed. If I do another week and it’s like this, I will donate elsewhere .

BioLife 1960 is pretty much a good place great location but they really need to speed up the process in the morning. Some donors do have jobs. And to today I met a unfriendly employee by the name of Casey. I really don’t care for the rudeness she displayed by being short and direct and she really hurt me during my process. I really don’t want to go back.

Prepare to spend at least 4 hours for a45 minute process that they require you to make an appointment for. And management continuously brings me funnies to the front of the line. I've been told that my two appointments for 330pm wouldn't happen and one for 4 as well. Manage your business better. Quit giving 10 minute time appointments when you know the process is at least an hour. The compensation they give isn't really justified for for house now is it

Although they claim to be better than CSL- they are BEYOND slow. Even after the initial sign up - super super slow. We were going to CSL that was 15 miles away- it was quicker to drive there and donate than going here 3 miles away. Their machines are also super slow…. Plan on almost 2 hours every time you go and don’t forget to make an appointment because otherwise you cannot donate. However the staff for the most part is very nice- so that helps.
