If you want to speak with a Biolife employee over the phone and call them, they will not answer the business phone. If you need assistance at the front desk, plan to wait a while. There is no-one to help you. The employees are generally not interested in the donors as a person, but as a number to move in and out of the facility. CSL Plasma in Lawrence is much better. I plan on returning to donate with CSL.

I love the idea of getting paid to help save lives but their system is WHACK. Like what’s the point of having appointments if you’re not even going to adhere to it. Like you can just walk in and take the questions and you get in line. So when I make an appnt and i expect it to be maybe slower i get there and it’s a 2 hour wait. It’s wild

It was going great and staff was educated and very nice however, I wasn’t paid for my last visit and did not receive a referral fee for the second person I sent( Stacy) . I called and emailed numerous times, no one returned emails not do they pick up the phone.

When I gave my second donation, it hurt above the place where they inserted the needle and I told them, they continued with the donation. The next day I had a hematoma 10 inches long covering my arm, so I went back to them a day later and showed them because I had numbness and hand tingling. They said to apply warm compresses and check back when the bruising was gone to make my next donation. Hmmm, not sure if I will continue.

I've been a regular donator at the Corona, CA center for a little over a year now. Probably about 25-35 donations during that time. They say that a donation takes about an hour. That hasn't been true for several months now. My last several donations have taken around 2 hours and it doesn't seem to matter what day or time I go. I don't know if they are short staffed or booking too many appointments but it's getting ridiculous. $130 dollars for 4 hours isn't worth my time anymore. On a side note, Tiffany is the best! She's my vein whisperer. I've never had an issue when she sticks me and she has great bedside manner. She's the only reason I gave 3 stars and may still go from time to time.

Need more bonus cash for existing donors

I have given approximately 6 donations. The positives are that plasma sources increase with the win win approach. You get.paid and plasma from those that need it increase. So far a good business model for both parties. The bad is primarily the marketing strategies. Be careful of their financial offers of extra money. Their strategy is to get you there for the first donation at $40 and make it harder for you to get the second donation at $90. Or coupons given for extra money, they come out usually midweek as to make the 2 fors nearly impossible to get. Also their wait times of sometimes 2 hours plus 1 hour machined up leave you adding transpo sometimes making under minimum wage. Outsmart their tactics and it can work for you.

I have been donating for almost 2 years and I have had very good experiences with the process. That is Until corporate changed the policy on how many people could make appointments in one hour. I went last night and I was literally there 2 and a 1/2 hours. It was dreadful. It's no fault of the employees because they are all fantastic. It's no point in making a appointment when you stand in line for 1& 1/2 hours before you get to donate . Corporate needs to take a look at what they're doing. It's not always about how many Units of plasma you can get in the door but how many people you can get through in a timely manner. If you expect 60 people to go through an hour then you need to get the employees to handle it. You're working your employees to the point they're not gonna stay. It's Too much stress when they have to try to hurry through people. Do better BIOLIFE!!!!
