I tried to remove a bad odor in a small bedroom and it was actually worse after using the Biocide treatment. I left it in place for 24 hours and 3 days later still no improvement, although the odor of the Biocide is also still very apparent.

I just moved in to an apartment that smelled of old cigarette, the smell was getting on my clothes , my eyes were red and irritated i had been very congested. I used the shocker while i went to work overnight and when i opened the door 11 hours later no smell. The directions said to turn fan on for at least 40 minutes. When i got back to check some of the smell was back, not as strong as before but still lingering. Im not sure if i have to leave it for 24 hours or maybe it just doesn't reach the air conditioner?

We purchased Biocide for our rental house that had a very persistent musty odor after our tenant of 10 years moved out. We cleaned, painted everything, refinished wood floors, cleaned again and we could not get rid of the smell. Our new tenant complained about the smell and even said co-workers said they could smell "it" on her. The smell would just linger on your clothes after being inside. The main floor of the house has 4 rooms plus a bathroom and is just under 700 sq ft. We put one room shocker in each room & let it go for 24 hours. The next morning when we opened the door, you could not smell the old musty odor that would normally hit you right when you walked in! It has been 1 full week since we treated and our tenant said it is a huge improvement, she is more than thrilled with the results!! She did say you can still smell the chlorine smell a bit, but not too bad. I will note that our temperatures here were sub-freezing and we could not shut the heat off completely or air the house out the best. We plan on purchasing some more for the basement and possibly retreat the upstairs later this spring when we can shut everything off and open the windows to air out afterwards. We had no problems with our first order at all and we will definitely purchase again and recommend to others!

Good product - eliminates most musty odors - might be helpful to have additional sizes or purchasing combinations but overall good product! Very prompt shipping and packaged well.
