Better Than I Hoped
I thought it looked good, but was prepared for that it might not work as well as I hoped. It wouldn't be the first time wasting my money on something Sammy (our Border Collie / Staffy X) didn't like. I started by taking the him for a few very short trips, just up and down the street, so we could both get the hang of it. That was about 2 yrs ago, and since then, any time I touch the bike, he gets super-excited. In fact it's hard to ride that bike without him, because he gets upset if he thinks he's missing out. He loves galloping for the first quarter mile. After that, we settle into a steady trotting rhythm, with the occasional break into a run. This dog loves to run. I've had so many people smile when they see us, and quite often people ask about the Bike Tow Leash. My wife had one bad experience, when a strange lady started yelling at her that it wasn't good for the dog. After that we changed from a collar to a chest harness, because Sammy does pull quite hard at the start -- it's like having an electric bike. After that my wife doesn't feel as confident to use it any more. But like I said, if I touch the bike, Sammy goes bananas. He clearly loves it. People comment on how fit he looks. I'm mostly exercising him in places where I'm not able to take him off the leash. With this, he's able to get much more exercise than I would otherwise be able to give him

So glad to hear Sammy loves the Bike Tow Leash. Yes, I recommend our Martingale collar for Biking and Walking in our accessories over harnesses as it provides more control. Hopefully, that will give your wife more riding confidence.
