The Washington Heights location was rarely open and held no consent schedule even in the summer (peak season).

Hello, Thank you for your feedback here! I am not sure what happened here or why this location was closed but this should have been communicated to our customers if it was closed or running at reduced hours. We do apologize for this extreme lapse in service as it does not represent who we are as a company. We do hope to get the chance to show you just how good our service can be for this upcoming season! --Bike Rent NYC

Worst customer service experience i have ever had. My girlfriend and I rented 2 bikes for a few hours which were okay and that part wasn’t all bad, but here’s why you should look elsewhere to rent a bike near Central Park. This company takes a damage deposit from the card you use to pay for the bikes and they tell you that the deposit will be returned automatically upon return of the bikes (if they are not broken or damaged). Well in fact we did not receive that money back for a few months after dozens of phone calls and emails and empty promises from customer service agents. What a waste of my time. We will never rent anything from this company again.

Hello Shane, Thank you for riding with Bike Rent NYC! We appreciate your feedback here as it helps us to discover areas which we need to improve upon. We work hard to train our staff on how to provide great customer service. Clearly, this was not what you experienced in our store and we do apologize for that as it is not who we are as a company. Kind regards, Bike Rent NYC

The bikes were ok but when we had a flat tyre in the middle of Central Park, we had nothing to repair nor anybody to help us. So my son had tu push the bike up to the arrival!

Hello Pascale, Thank you for your business and the feedback here. While I do not know the specifics of your experience, we do offer bike insurance which would cover similar situations such as this. I hope this was offered to you and explained in full at the time of your rental. We work hard to train our staff on how to provide great customer service which, unfortunately, was not what you experienced in our store. We do apologize for this as it is not who we are as a company. Kind regards, Bike Rent NYC
