I got my first set of Big Ears almost 20 years ago. I used Big Ear in Iraq and nearly 100,000 miles on two bikes. My dog killed them, Stone brought them back to life. I upgraded 4 years ago and these new ones are so small and clear sounding i'm a customer for life!

Great product, I use their dual filtered custom ear plugs every day at work and have for the last ~3 years. I fly helicopters and they are absolutely great for aviation in general. They are marketed as specifically for motorcycles but work great if you need to be able to make out what people are saying on radios in a loud environment. They bring down the ambient noise level just enough that even if you have a really bad radio you can figure out what’s being said. The custom molds make them comfortable all day, and they fit fine under Bose/lightspeed headsets. Just recently contacted them with questions about maintenance and grabbed an extra pair just in case, appreciate their customer service as well!

The Big Ear team has been great to work with. They are able to come onsite to our manufacturing location to fit employees for custom ear plugs right at work. The ear plugs work great and everyone who has a pair likes them. I would highly recommend the product and working with the Big Ear team!

0 star — If You Have Two Years to Waste, Big Ear Inc. Is the Company for You I honestly wish there was an option for zero stars, because Big Ear Inc. has managed to turn what should have been a simple aviation headset ear-mold purchase into a two-year customer service nightmare. I purchased custom ear molds for my aviation headset. The molds didn’t fit properly, and somehow the process ended up damaging my headset. Naturally, I contacted Big Ear expecting a company that specializes in aviation ear molds to stand behind its product. That was apparently my first mistake. For over TWO YEARS, I have been trying to get this company to actually address the problem. And what have I received? “Next week.” “Soon.” “We’ll get back to you.” And then… absolutely nothing. At this point, I’m starting to think “next week” is actually Big Ear’s official customer service department. I’ve spent more than two years chasing a company that apparently believes that if they ignore a customer long enough, the problem will magically disappear. Unfortunately for them, I have a pretty good memory. The irony is incredible: this is a company selling products intended for aviation professionals who depend on their equipment, yet they seem completely incapable of taking responsibility when their product doesn’t work as advertised and causes damage. The ear molds didn’t fit. My headset was damaged. And after two years of trying to get a resolution, I’m still waiting. Two years. Not two weeks. Not two months. Two years. At this point, I don’t need them to fix my headset. I just need someone at Big Ear to invent a calendar and discover what year we’re currently in. If you’re considering buying from Big Ear, my advice is simple: don’t. There are plenty of companies that will gladly take your money. The difference is that some of them will actually answer you afterward. Big Ear has demonstrated an impressive level of commitment to one thing: not solving the problem. Save yourself the headache, the money, and the two-year waiting period. Look elsewhere.

Fit was great (used the home mold kit with the help of my wife) and the 30db passive nr filters worked great shooting my USPSA 9 major open gun. Comfort was great even after over 6 hours of wear. Definitely recommend and Glenn was great to deal with.

I can fully recommend these earplugs. They fit very comfortably in the ear and are genuinely pleasant to wear! The volume level on the airplane and during freefall is now significantly more comfortable. I have the standard ear plugs without filters and would definitely buy them again. These ear plugs have quickly become one of the most valuable pieces of gear I own for skydiving. The full-protection plugs are perfect for tunnel training. They significantly reduce the constant wind noise while remaining comfortable enough to wear through extended sessions. For jumping, the filtered plugs are outstanding. They make it much easier than your run of the mill plugs to equalize on the ride to altitude, and in freefall, while still allowing me to clearly hear and communicate with my teammates on the plane, and stay aware of everything happening around me. In freefall and under canopy, they take the edge off the wind noise without making me feel disconnected. The fit and comfort are second to none, and knowing my hearing is protected every time I jump or fly in the tunnel gives me peace of mind. Whether you’re a weekend warrior or training every day, they’re an investment in your long-term hearing health that’s absolutely worth making. Oh, and did I mention the top notch Customer Service? I had the privilege of being able to order my plugs in person at a Boogie. Stone and Casey are very passionate and knowledgeable, and just all around down to earth people. 100/10 highly recommended. You won’t regret it!

This product is a life saver for me ..I need complete silence for sleep and I work with airplanes for years ..the Full Stop earplugs are amazing!!! I have 2 pairs already
