Professional service, except for our consultant having problems with getting the time zones correct. We also feel the US $200.00 hour rate is way above similar rates charged else where.

As a business owner I don't want to have to worry about the details on managing a website. Bigcommerce gives me the ability to have a fully functional site with inventory management, email notification, product descriptions, product pages, and much more without having to know how to code this or that. This frees me to focus on the more important things of the business. Bigcommerce is easy to use and quite intuitive! If I ever do run into a problem, their 24 hour support is ready to assist in anyway they can. There's certainly room for improvement but I completely trust BC with my site!

Almost a year ago, I launched my Fair Trade gift store online with Bigcommerce. I customized a free Bigcommerce theme to fit my store brand and was up and running in a few days. I used the built-in coupon codes and the JustUno app to drive sales and build my social media following. The Bigcommerce Android app is also great - I use it to track and ship orders right from my phone. Transitioning to Bigcommerce has been an eye opening experience and we can truly see what we were missing with Prostores. We were a charter Prostores user (i.e. since the era of Kurant Store-Sense) and we were loyal to Prostores. However, we can now see how much better Bigcommerce is in comparison. BC has a back end system that is far easier to use, navigate with functionality like customized urls, page names, configurable 301 redirects, customizable meta data for all pages; simple urls, etc... The entire BC platform is designed for SEO optimization. The transition from Prostores was time consuming but easy and trouble free with the help from BC. The BC system has superior product, analytics, marketing, customer interfaces built in, with access to many excellent additional applications that you can add in to your store, like "ShippingEasy" and a wide variety of other valuable tools that automate and enhance your store. We are really happy with BC. Thank you.

I just started setting up a store to go with our blog, and was able to get it basically ready to go over a weekend. There's still more to do, there are tons of features and we're still learning about SEO, but I like how much control I have over the different parts of the site. Now if I could only get them to take my product photos for me, I'd be set.

Brand new to e-commerce, we obviously chose the right platform to start out on. Within 3 months we took the top spot on Google for all of our major products. This was with so little work in writing content, too! We just took photos with a cell phone, wrote out own descriptions that were a few sentences long and the customers started pouring in. We realized soon that communication with our customers was key to growing and retaining customers. Bigcommerce was perfect for that as it already keeps track of everyones info and has built in contact forms. Now we've got loyal customers who have come back time and again because of the easy checkout process and service we provided. Too easy! Also I'd like to add, while the template system is somewhat complex to learn at first, the fact that it is completely open to you has allowed us to add on features that not even the HUGE $800 million dollar companies have on their sites. It's just so great! From $0/revenue to a projects $70,000+ this year, Bigcommerce is an easy choice.

Our previous site was using WP eCommerce - and the ease of adding products and changing settings is night and day. Setting up the initial settings took a few days, but modifying the built-in themes was very similar to WordPress, so we caught on quickly. ;) Only wish that I'd heard of them sooner!
