Better U has been my positive shining light through the darkness and hardships of severe depression. Over the years, medication after medication not working, I was ready to give up. When I researched and heard about Better U I at last had some hope again. After being a patient with them for over a year I can now say my depression is nowhere near where it was and that for once I feel that it may be forever gone shortly. After one session I felt the results both mentally and physically. I finally had my old positive mindset back and still do thanks to Better U! Oh and talk about customer service, 10/10 team they have. Couldn’t recommend more!

I highly recommend BetterU. I was suffering severely with a debilitating cranial neuropathy (neuralgia) that my regular doctors, and the hospital, could not diagnose nor alleviate. They ran many tests, MRI included, both with and without contrast, and no apparent cause nor diagnosis was ever determined. BetterU did a workup on me, prescribed a limited Ketamine prescription to me, got it delivered to my home, and thoroughly coached me through its usage, restrictions, and risk factors. They’ve also provided regular counseling while keeping abreast of any health changes that I might have had. The results have been life altering. My neuropathic pain attacks have all but been eliminated, and I have been freed of taking all of the ineffective, narcotizing, pain drugs that the “regular” doctors had been prescribing to me. This, in turn, has increased my mental capacity, stamina, and alacrity. BetterU and Ketamine have been a Godsend to me and to my family. I most sincerely recommend BetterU and the carefully controlled usage of Ketamine therapy.

I was skeptical as I am with most things. I do not like to feel like I am not in control of my body, mind, actions, etc. While initially I was only dosing weekly, I upped it to twice a week. Feel good.

I have been with BetterU for over a year now. After dealing with depression + anxiety, I have tried just about everything in the book to help manage my mental health - several different antidepressants, CBT, talk therapy, mindfulness, etc. All to no avail. I would do better for a short while but then I would sink back into old ways of thinking. I struggled finding therapists that actually helped me and drugs seemed to either make me a zombie or required me to up my dose every so often, making it hard for any pills to actually work long term. Enter BetterU. Ketamine therapy has saved my mental health. The clinicians will give you a consultation to review your history and set your dosage. They provide clear instructions, program prompts, and tips on integration to make sure the lessons you learn can be integrated into your everyday life. They have care support that you can talk with someone on video chat after every 2-4 sessions. Sessions can be completed from the comfort of home and is easy and safe to do. Initially they ask you to do a session once a week to take advantage of neuroplasticity and get you healthier and managing your mental faster. After you complete the initial 6-8 week program, you go on a maintenance plan to which you and your clinician can decide what is best for you. My favorite part is talking to my care coach, Cathy. She reaches out even when I dont have a session scheduled just to check in to see how I am doing and our calls are centered around how I can take the lessons from my sessions and remember to integrate them every day. Lastly, the prices at BetterU are a lot more affordable than any other at-home ketamine treatments, receiving 5 full sessions for $400 on the maintenance program. I will be a patient here for the foreseeable future. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the staff and team. They make it feel like they are genuinely here to help me through my issues and the ketamine experience, itself, allows me to be my own therapist and utilize on the tools I've learned to make permanent mental health changes. <3

I am grateful for A Better U. When I was 11, I had a violent experience, my previous doctors referred to it as a PTSD induced event, complete with suppressed memories. I did all these things throughout my life to make the thoughts and feelings go away. I endured years of self-development work, conventional counseling, drinking, smoking, and acting out sexually in an effort to squelch the feelings and quiet my mind. It impacted me in my daily life, The fear, anger, and insomnia was the posture of my life. What I thought I needed for most for my life was to forgive, I couldn’t do that, the feelings were so powerful that I couldn’t even think about them, and I was stuck in an effort to try and suppress and not look at the feelings and thoughts I had about the past. The therapeutic method used by A Better U allowed me to confront these feelings. I created mantras about this whenever I did a session. “This already happened there is nothing I can do about it.” “I am an adult now it can never happen again.” “I am in my room and I am safe.” I remember everything that happened in the event I am not a hostage to those feelings and thoughts anymore. “I don’t care what happened in the past I want to enjoy my life now.” My life is better than ever. This has been a solution to a problem I searched for my whole life. I am forever grateful.
