Great 👍 experience

Good visit, but instructions should have been available through an email in advance. I had to go through the outer door in order to see the covid visit instructions, then write down the phone number, and go back to my car to call.

My issue with this location is the intake process. On this and prior occasions the registration person did not triage, but was judge and jury. I felt I was being talked down to and judged about coming in. Both times I felt like I was bothering them and they did not take me seriously. I would not have come in if I didn’t think I needed care. Last February I was denied care! This visit I was questioned as such I felt I wasn’t being taken seriously. I was in with my special needs child who having heart palpitations and her primary care dr told us to go get checked out and get an EKG. And I was questioned. If I come in with a probable heart issue, I would have thought I’d get a little more respect. I will say the nursing staff and dr were awesome! Worked with my daughter on her level and made sure she was comfortable with everything they did. I probably won’t be back because of the multiple issues with intake and registration.

PA Ken went out of his way to help me find a primary care physician. And he was very kind and down to earth.

I didn’t even know BetterMed Urgent Care had opened nearby, but it will now be my first go-to place for emergency care! I was impressed from the start when I was able to register and get an immediate appointment online. Every single staff employee was AMAZING and couldn’t have been any nicer! They were thorough yet efficient which is always a plus. This is how getting care (unexpectedly) should always be. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BetterMed in Matthews!!!
