My first appointment and the dietitian did not bother to show up. I waited for 20 minutes. So unprofessional. I would NEVER work with them not even if they paid me!

Poor experience
During first session, the dietician started the conversation with "do you know you only have 6 sessions covered by insurance?...you're going to need way more than that", and proceeded to tell me the cost of sessions. Before saying hello or introducing herself.
She ate during our entire session. She was rude and flippant. She told me "you know you don't have to eat an actual meal- you can just eat carrots and hummus- girl dinner". Then sent me an AI generated meal plan of 1500 calories per day. That is not based on my TDEE or anything individualized. Lastly, I was actually concerned for her, as she looked very, very thin. I canceled my remaining appointments and switched to Kickoff.

Lack of knowledge
I have met with my RD for the past 6 weeks. I have not found it to be helpful. This is my second attempt with an RD and they both seem to be very cookie cutter and lack the true knowledge to help someone get to the root cause of their issue. Very disappointed.

Disappointed and Disillusioned by Berry Street
I don’t take writing negative reviews lightly, but my experience with Berry Street Nutrition was frustrating enough that I feel compelled to share. Across four appointments, I encountered a troubling lack of professionalism, preparation, and responsiveness.
During one session, my dietician spent nearly the entire hour screen-sharing while Googling basic nutrition information—something I could have done on my own. I came seeking expert guidance and personalized support, not a live tutorial on how to search the internet. This pattern continued, and it wasn’t until after the fourth appointment that she finally followed up on my specific requests—over a week later.
Adding to the confusion, the profile photo associated with my dietician did not resemble the person I met with. While I understand that appearances can vary, the discrepancy was significant enough to raise concerns about transparency and credibility.
When I attempted to switch providers, I was surprised to find that no other dieticians were even listed as available. There was no option to choose someone with a different approach or background. In contrast, Nourish offered a wide selection of registered dietitians, each with clearly listed credentials and areas of expertise. Their platform also includes a well-designed website and app with readily accessible resources, recipes, and guidance—everything I had hoped to find at Berry Street but didn’t.
Overall, I felt the service lacked the professionalism, personalization, and accountability that one should expect when investing in nutritional support. I hope Berry Street Nutrition takes this feedback seriously and reevaluates how they support and represent their clients. Nutrition is a deeply personal journey, and clients deserve better than what I received.

I entered private HiPAA data upon request. They knew I was a Medicare patient and their program would not be covered. So they got something for nothing.

Perry Street charge my account $100 for a canceled visit, that I did not schedule or confirm.. There is no live person to speak to to rectify the issue and there was no return response.
I received another notification that they have already scheduled me for another visit next week October 9, 2025. For every visit that I cancel it rescheduled another appointment and bills my account.
