Maybe it's because the shop didn't carry the type of bike they wanted, had a particular model they needed to liquidate or maybe they didn't have the right size in stock, but still wanted the sale.That is definitely not the way to treat a new bike customer or any customer. A shop like that isn't concerned about your need or comfort on a bike; they just wanted a sale. Once you’re out the door...its money in their cash drawer and they're on to the next.We strive to make sure you're getting the right bike for your type of riding. Not only that; we won't put you on a bike that doesn't fit you properly. These are important things to us and they should be even more important to you. We want you to love riding your bike and will do our best to make sure you do.

Business as expected
Ordered some toe straps from Ben's with Priority 2-day shipping. Product that arrived was a newer iteration with decals on it which I thought were quite nice, although I must admit that the stock photo used on the site was different than what I received (same straps, but no decals). Ultimately, even though I liked the surprise, others may not necessarily feel the same, so I'm knocking off some points there. Overall, it was an pain-free process. The guys at Ben's Cycle do what they're supposed to on time, and that's an A in my book.

slow customer service that wasn't honored
Tried to match price but Ben's Cycle got back to me after I purchased item since it was taking so long to hear back. Super bummed.

Thanks ZMon for the feedback and we are really sorry for the confusion. Because of this feedback you have helped us realized the Price Match needed to be clearer as to when this feature is monitored. We have added the days and times that we monitor to the Price Match so that our customers know when their Price Match would be reviewed. Sorry again.

Super price and super service!
Got a set of ENVE 29er CX clinchers with DT Swiss 240s hubs. The price was incredible, and Ben's swapped out a 10 spd cassette body for an 11 speed, and switched a 12x142 thru axle for a 10x135 thru for no additional charge. Ben's is always very accommodating and their prices are great.

Ben's cycle is excellent
I've placed a few orders, changed orders, canceled orders, requested technical info on orders - in each case customer service at Ben's has always been fast, efficient, helpful. The orders are shipped out promptly, all questions are answered promptly and they have a great selection. Nothing but good things to say about Ben's.
