My service locally was good until we were hit by a cat 5 hurricane...and then it went to hell and has never recovered. The struggles are real and understandable...but still very frustrating.

4 post lift with wheel kit. Upon lowering, I could not get more than 1/4 inch lift on the wheel kit. Raised and lowered a dozen times. Every call was handled by a different tech. 4th call, I was advised to hold the down lever after the unit bottomed out. It may take several min. Several min holding the down hyd. lever open, it slowly raised the unit off the ground. Allowing rolling.

I called bendpak to ask what thickness of concrete I needed for my new shop. They told me 3" and 3000psi would work. When I called to order I was told I needed to speak to the first person I talked to so he would get the credit for it. I was told he would call back in 1 hour. Two days later I called and ask for a manager and told him sell me one now or I'll look elsewhere. Who knew it would be so difficult to give someone $3500? I used one of their two recommended local installers. The lift arrived wet, scraped up, and rolling around on their flatbed trailer. The installers drilled the holes and tightened the bolts with an impact gun. The instructions clearly state, "do not use an impact gun". They then told me one side was too thin to install. I paid to have the concrete cut and removed from my freshly painted concrete floor only to see the concrete was 3+" thick and 3500psi. The installers had blown out the bottom of the concrete when drilling and pounding in the concrete studs. This added 5 weeks and $400 to the install. Once installed it worked but wasn't right. The 3rd time I used it, it leaked fluid all over my floor. The installer then fixed it and did some adjustments. It has worked fine since then but I wonder for how long. I have a scratched and scraped questionable 10,000lb lift with a 4' X 4' square showing on the floor. If I had to do it again I would look elsewhere for a lift. The whole experience was a pain. The least Bendpak should do is require 4" or more for their lifts and insure their installers know how to install one of their lifts. At best they should reimburse me the $400.00 I spent on the cutting, removing and re-pouring the concrete.

I had huge delays before receiving the lift because of production issues. It took almost 6 months to receive all the parts after I had paid for the lift. My sales rep was always very difficult to reach, and the updates on the status of production/shipment were unacceptably difficult to get.
