To start with you have mgd with really dry miserable eyes .The mask itself sits heavily on the bridge of my nose and forehead.it does have a rubber insert that helps keep the moisture in .When I first turn it on it starts puffing out what looks like steam but it isn’t warm yet .when it heats up the warm moisture is nice but I really can’t feel the heat unless I open my eyes .It does seem to drip down my face .i reached out and support said to only use several drops which it still drips .The pink liquid used seems to make eyes seem somewhat chalky after I’m finished the session .Im still on the fence to keep it or send it back .

Hi Gay, Thank you for such a detailed account — genuinely useful, and fair on every point. A few things worth knowing. The mist does start before the heat builds, so the cool puffing at the beginning is normal rather than a fault. The dripping, though, and the chalky feeling afterwards aren't things you should have to live with, and "use fewer drops" clearly wasn't enough of an answer. MGD is also a condition where fit and heat really matter, so if the mask is sitting heavily on your nose and forehead, that's worth sorting rather than tolerating. Please write to [email protected] and we'll take a proper look — including whether your unit is heating as it should. You shouldn't have to decide on the fence. The Beminda team
