I'm currently at the Belle Vue with my husband and two teenage sons. We originally booked to go to Cala Millor but changed at the last minute to come here after seeing a better deal or at least we thought at the time. Honestly it's not the best. We arrived last Sunday and have another week to go. If someone said to me you can go home today I would say yes. We arrived last Sunday and our room hasn't even been cleaned yet. We've asked three times at reception for new towels and nothing. We've had to take them and new sheets from the maid and change our own sheets. The mattress is terrible and you can feel the springs in your back. I honestly feel like I am camping. The restaurant is too small for the amount of people here. Everywhere is queuing. Queuing to get a drink at the bar in the evening, queuing for the toilets, queuing to ask a question at reception. The resort is run down. You spend all year saving and looking forward to a holiday and I don't think places like this actually appreciate that you are on holiday!!!! You don't want to be woken at 7/8am but the pool area being cleaned or queuing constantly for everything it's draining. Honestly I wish we would have looked more in to the reviews.

you’re reading reviews saying, “Don’t listen to the bad reviews, it’s not that bad,” don’t be fooled. I read those reviews too and ignored the warnings. Biggest mistake I made. The bad reviews are accurate—if anything, they don’t go far enough. This hotel is an absolute disgrace. The food is genuinely inedible, and the restaurant is complete chaos from start to finish. It’s dirty, disorganised and so stressful that you lose your appetite before you’ve even found a plate. Calling it a restaurant is generous. The entire complex is enormous but looks like it’s been left to rot. Everywhere you look is tired, neglected and falling apart. Don’t expect housekeeping either, because it simply doesn’t exist. We put the sign on the door asking for our room to be cleaned and were completely ignored. Someone in our party got so fed up they actually PAID a maid to clean the room. That tells you everything you need to know. The lifts barely work and look like they’ve been prised open with a crowbar. They feel unsafe, and if you’re elderly, disabled or have young children, good luck. Whatever you do, don’t book based on the hotel’s photos. They are nothing like the rooms you’ll actually be given. The pictures are completely misleading and bear little resemblance to reality. The final straw was when my elderly grandmother slipped in the restaurant toilets because the floor was covered in water with absolutely no wet floor sign. Instead of helping or apologising, staff actually told her to mop the floor herself. I’ve never experienced such a shocking lack of compassion. When we complained to reception, their solution was to offer a cup of ice—as if that somehow made up for an elderly woman falling because of their negligence. By the time we walked back to her room, it would have been a cup of water anyway. It was insulting. To top it all off, we had a power cut that left the hotel without electricity or water. No lights, no running water, and no working lifts. Just another disaster in a holiday that seemed determined to get worse every day. This hotel is one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. It’s dirty, neglected, badly managed and staffed by people who seemed completely uninterested in helping guests. Don’t waste your money, don’t trust the glossy photos, and don’t convince yourself the bad reviews are exaggerated. I did, and I regretted it from the moment I arrived.

We just got back from our stay. At first, we were quite satisfied. Our room wasn't very clean when we arrived, but it was spacious and the beds were comfortable. We booked bed & breakfast, and the food was good for a 3-star hotel. There was also a great choice of swimming pools. However, things changed when our air conditioning broke down. We were left without air conditioning for more than 72 hours, while travelling with two young children. The management offered no apologies, no real solutions, and no updates—just empty promises. One evening, we even waited two hours for a fan. During that time, we called reception three times and were repeatedly assured that it was on its way. Of course, it never arrived. If everything goes smoothly, this is a decent hotel. But if something goes wrong, don't expect much help. Based on our experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere, especially if you're travelling with children.

We are currently in Minerva II here since Monday morning June 29th. We checked in , didn't even have towels in the room we had to use the bed linen. After 4 hours of calling twice the reception and promised someone will bring them asap nothing happened. Later in the day after calling again someone came in. Today is Wednesday afternoon July 1st , someone came for the first time to clean the room. Didn't even changed the bed linen, took us the 3 towels we had and left 2 fresh ones only instead. When called the reception they told us in 8 days as our stay they will only change the sheets once. Customer service is 0 , by far the worst experience we ever had. They have 0 idea how to deal with customers and offer the service we paid for. 0 customer service and barely talk english. Someone should offer them a proper training on how they should behave with customers. Stop telling people if they need the service they paid for they need to walk 10 mins in 35° at the reception, you guys should have people coming to each person room! I love Spain but this is awful.

Arrived at resort 3 hours late after a long queue at passport control. This meant no shuttle bus to accommodation. Had to navigate suitcases and child in the dark with one small map (that I couldn't read). After 10 minutes walk couldn't get into room, back to reception! Finally got in during early hours of the morning smelt raw sewage. Got up early to complain about this, hole in floor near my bed and broken shower door. Admittedly they did change the room (we were not the only people in reception complaining). The pool areas were clean and plenty of lifeguards. Slides and splash zones great for my 10 year old son. Snack bars and pool bars close. Had burgers, hot dogs,salad and chips. Main restaurant had a good selection of food but was a 10 minute walk and very busy (sometimes needing to queue to get in). There was only 1 bar open on a night by the outdoor stage, not obvious what drinks were included and what you had to pay extra for! Entertainment varied, enjoyed the group that was on one night but there are many mosquitos. Had loads of bites even with spray on as it is by a river. The location went onto a street with little shops but it took about 20 minutes to walk to the beach. Didn't hate it had a nice holiday but never had to complain on a Jet2 holiday before.

Good points Stunning views, plenty for kids to do, staff friendly and if you have a concern it’s dealt with right away, rooms are decent, cleaners come round every other day or so, we stayed in Fedra 1. Bad points The resort seems under staffed which causes a heck of a lot of queuing especially in the evening where there is an huge area for entertainment with only 2 bar staff. Also, the restaurant is big but not big enough for the shear amount of people on the resort, the staff are literally non stop to clear tables so others can eat. The food is Spanish which is very nice, however, it gets a little repetitive eating the same food for lunch and supper and day after day same thing. Was an inexpensive holiday so I suppose you get what you pay for. We are out of season so it could improve during the summer, we won’t come back to find that out.

Stayed 11 nights at BelleVue Club (Minerva I) with my family and had a very poor experience. The pool situation is a joke, people leave towels overnight to reserve sunbeds and the hotel does nothing about it. We couldn’t properly use the pool with our kids, and when we asked staff for help, we were dismissed. We also stopped using the restaurant after seeing a large rat inside near the toilets. Other guests saw it too. After that, we didn’t feel safe eating there and had to spend extra money outside, even though we paid for half board. Overall, the resort feels overcrowded, understaffed, and poorly managed. We complained directly but got a generic reply and no resolution. Would not recommend.
