Not really about the restaurant but I ordered from Bella at Home because I love the restaurant so much and wanted my father to have an authentic Italian meal for Father's Day. Unfortunately, a week later, it has still not arrived. The Company has my money and evidence that they have my money but all has gone quiet on the that front. So a warning from me about Bella at Home and maybe a prompt to the Company that you owe me a Father's Day meal for 2.

Food no better than OK and quite expensive for what it was. Service painfully slow. When I got home I believed that I had been overcharged and raised it on their feedback page requesting a response but none ever came. A lot of room for improvement especially in the area of customer service.

Visited at Xscape branch, Castleford on 21 February at 2.30 for a late lunch. After a 20 minute wait for a table in a virtually empty restaurant we were shown to our table. The waitress was polite and friendly and took our order. We waited for 30 minutes for 2 soft drinks and another 20 plus minutes for our food. The food wasn't dynamic but it was ok. No-one checked whether we had any food allergies when we placed our order and we weren't asked if our meal was satisfactory. Sadly disappointing and average - we won't be going back.

Not usually one to go out my way to put negative reviews, so apologies in advance. We arrived at Bella Italia at approximately 6:10pm tonight, it wasn’t busy on arrival and we were placed quickly down to start our evening meal. We ordered our first round of drinks, starter & main at 6:20. Unfortunately the two meals I wanted weren’t in stock; ribs & half a chicken, which meant two out of the three of us had to change our meal. We ended up choosing something different. We ended up ordering 3 pasta courses. Soon after ordering the restaurant became quite busy including a table of about 10 seated next to us. We waited 40 minutes to be served two starters, and by this point had finished our drinks. We asked the (kind) but what seemed to be rather new waitress for drinks when she cleared the plates at 7:00 in which she said she would order. By 7:25 we still hadn’t received our mains or drinks, and we asked the waitress where they would be in which she responded she would ask the kitchen, soon coming back saying it would be a further 10-15 minutes. In this time, every table around us, most of which had arrived after, and including the table of 12 who had arrived after had received all of there mains. We were quite astonished that we were waiting this long for just 3 pasta dishes... We waited a further 15 minutes and our mains still hadn’t arrived, in which we asked if we could please speak to the manager, we then again explained the situation to the waiters in which they said ‘what would you like me to do about it?’. I’ve been a waitress myself for a good 3 years during my late teens and I understand how stressful and busy the floor gets, however tonight we felt incredibly disappointed, left hungry at 7:45pm with only one round of drinks during our nearly 2 hours here. I hope if we ever choose to come back it will be a better experience as we have often heard good things/even brought groupon vouchers for family & friends here, it’s certainly given us not a great first experience... Sorry for a negative review, hopefully it will be our last :)

Visited Bella Italia at Cabot circus in Bristol. Arrived at 13:50pm on Sunday 26/01/2020 (3 of us) took 10mins to get someone to take our order ( we had to ask if we could order drinks and food) when our drinks did arrive the coke zero was flat with zero fizz, let alone sugar. The cappuccino was more like a latte. At 14:40pm we finally asked if our food would be much longer (manager apologised and said 5 more minutes) first dish arrived at 14:48. We ordered 2 pizzas and a kids meal - child pizza. Other tables that arrived after us were receiving their food before us. We complained to a waitress and I think a manager came over and apologised for the wait and gave us a discount. about £30% off. The food was nice when it did arrive. There was no toilet roll in the gents toilet and could have done with a sweep. I know during busy times there might be a bit of a longer wait, but I feel that this needs to be explained to customer upon arrival. Perhaps explain that they are busy, short staffed and a wait for food could be up to 45 mins. A manager could have approached us to apologise for the longer than usual wait, this would have gone a long way to improving our visit. Service needs improvement, food times faster, drinks dispense needs looking at. Perhaps more staff training will improve the situation. The restaurant is nice and the food ain't bad and it could be a nice place to visit, just needs better customer service during busy times or more staff on duty.

Visited this restaurant in Touchwood, Solihull on19th Jan 2020 for a family birthday celebration. The restaurant is nice but that is probably the only good thing I could say about it. The food was a mix of good to very poor, particularly the way that it was presented in the case of some dishes. Tho of the party had Tomato bruschetta to start, they did not look like any bruschetta we have ever seen. The tomatoes were raw and cold, just slapped on the plate with two pieces of toasted bread, very dry and unappetising. I had the Prawn Bruschetta and was presented with prawns in a dish with a piece of toasted bread plonked on the top. The main dishes were on the whole good. However the biggest problem was the terrible service, it started off well with a very pleasant member of staff that took our order and there it ended, we had to wait ages for the starters and then the main course. Trying to attract the attention of a member of staff was embarrassing as we had to resort to waving our arms and calling out. After we had eventually ordered deserts we lost the will to live, these should have been the quickest things to make and serve. Unfortunately after waiting ages and finally attracting the attention of a member of staff we were told it would be another 10 minutes at least befiore they arrived. At this point we cancelled them, paid the bill and left, the saving grace was that we had a voucher for buy one get one free on starters and mains. Without this we would have been disputing the bill! We left and went to another restaurant for our deserts !!

I cannot fault the service and got a ***** finger bowl with my prawns. Better finger bowl than some five star hotels as there were plenty of napkins to wipe your hands too but there the excellence finished. Grossly overpriced and very indifferent food. Wine overpriced too. One of my guests had a burger 🍔 not very Italian I know but he was very underwhelmed and a small portion too. I have been here a couple of years ago and had Frito Misto which was lovely but the menu now includes Katsu Curry Pizza 🤷♀️ but no Frito Misto. Probably my last visit. Cabot Circus November 2019.
