My friend took her daughter to Bella Italia Burton on Trent for lunch. Katie has severe allergies to egg and all diary produce. The staff refused to allow her to eat as 'it was too dangerous' I am sure restaurants have to make provision for customers with allergies. It seems it is too much trouble for Bella Italia

Honestly; not much to really positively talk about. From the title of the shop you can instantly tell that they sell Italian signature foods (pizza and pasta). But seriously; they are overpriced. Their food quality is not amazing to be honest and yet they charge us £12 for a pizza and around £3 for a Coke. Prices are very overpriced with the fact that they are not producing amazing food. They have a lot of space in Watford and yet customers were not on the high when I visited at lunchtime. Overall for a meal of six (for teenagers) it came to around £75 pounds which was quit expensive (next time I'm going Nando's). We tried using a gift card which would save us 50% but they would not accept. They said that they only accept gift cards on Mon-Thurs. It became even more suspicious when I realised that because we had gone out so close to Christmas Day they had not accepted them because they knew they would get money.... I don't really know I'm just speculating. Bella Italia have very high prices especially for teenagers who are carrying a limited amount of money. I also definitely think you can find better pizza and pasta in many different restaurants Watford has to offer!!

Went to Bella Italia 18th December in Birmingham. Had to wait for a table which wasn't a problem but there was quite a few empty when we arrived. The meal came which was only luke warm. We had a voucher but the waitress who did not speak very good English muttered that we could not use it as the German Christmas Market was on. Did tell us that till we had eaten. She was very rude to us as well. The people either side of us complained too as they had vouchers. Never go there again. I sent in a complaint but they never replied. How dam rude.

Unprofecional manager. I wish I could give 0 stars. I did booked in advance a table for 6 people, for a birthady. When we arrived, the rude manager said to un my name is not at the booking list, without being appologised he did find a tought table. We were not comfortable, the food was ok, but a couple of dishes were runed out.

I have never experienced such shocking level of service in my life!! waited over an Hour to receive the food we ordered..!! we were never told the time we were expected to wait, despite the arrogant waiter and I assume the manager telling us we were told... NO we wasn't..!! it wouldn't been so bad if we had walked off the street expecting a table.. but no.. we actually booked a table .because we had our 5 year old grandson... what made it even worse. When the food had arrived... mine was cold, my daughters chicken was not cooked.. and my grandsons child's meal hadn't even been cooked.!!!... Shocking!! Poor service, arrogant attitude, and disgusting excuses!!… If you cant cope with a busy restaurant.. either get better trained staff.. or remove some tables.. because you are losing trade... and reputation.. if you ever had one!!… I will never be using Bella Pasta again.

Bella Italia Eleveden Forest Centre Parcs: Slow service, sticky table top, Marco Polo (Duck) Pasta lacked the vital ingredient of duck. Manager apologised and wiped bill but won't be returning any time soon!

Told to wait 45 minutes to an hour to seat just 3 people, called head office and response was 'yes but' to everything I said, very cold and non genuine. Was told to book if I wanted to be seated in a reasonable time...for just 3 people? Seriously? How about you sort your staff shortage out first? There were at least 7 vacant tables that I went round and counted and that was just in one section of the restaurant.
