Scum company — will not be buying a Belkin product again.
Spent £50 on a “lifetime screen protector” from the Apple Store. Tried to order a replacement today because it cracked and have to pay £10 shipping! Ridiculous. Doesn’t cost more than £2 to ship.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I wish I could leave less than one star…
I wish I could leave less than one star because this is TOO generous! They are horrible their warranty isn’t worth the used toilet paper it’s written on! Impossible to get a hold of anyone
Impossible to register your product online for the warranty I swear this is done by design buyer beware

I've been sold a screen protector warranty, but there is no screen protector in stock and customer service takes ages to get to and absolutely useless. I am shocked a company like Apple works with such bad company. Stay away!

Sold an iPhone 17 Pro Max screen protector with…
Sold an iPhone 17 screen protector in Dec 2025 with a replacement guarantee and the protector has become defective after 5 months. Yet tried to get a replacement and was told item is out of stock and no information is available on when it will become available. The whole idea of purchasing a Belkin screen protector because of the replacement warranty, yet this is now a joke. On another matter, when you purchase a screen protector directly from Belkin they charge you £6.95 for delivery but for a warranty replacement they charge £9.99- where is the logic of this?

Customer service is poor and product is poorly made now
First I waited over an hour to speak to someone when I initially needed a “free” replacement. Second, it’s technically not “free” as you have to pay for S&H. They should state that..even Apple employees tell you it’s free replacement no it is not! When I finally get replacement the screen protector came off from the plastic cover and I had to manually stick on phone. So now I have tons of bubbles I can’t get rid of. Was going to take to Apple and see if they can reapply it but Now I am calling again and waiting for pick up as my new screen protector is cracked already. Not being made like they used to.

DO NOT BUY A SCREEN PROTECTOR, OR ANYTHING, FROM BELKIN!!
I am beyond angry at this company, their crappy screen protectors and illegal warranty practices! And not just this company, but Apple for selling them!! I purchased my iphone at the Apple Store in Park Meadows, CO. They pushed this $43 screen protector on me, selling it by stating it had a lifetime warranty and if it broke I could either bring the phone into the store and they would apply a new one, or I could just order it to my house and apply it myself. My son had one on his last phone for 3 years and never had to replace it, so I plunked down $43, even though I have never paid more than $7 for one in my life (excellent protectors purchased on Amazon with a true lifetime warranty and no cost shipping). Belkin's screen protector cracked from a soft drop by day 3 and has chipped/cracked a dozen more times since then. I went in to the Apple Store to get my free replacement. Now they say I have to order it and then they'll put it on. Fine, I go online to Belkin and try to order one. They say it is not covered because it is BROKEN! What the HEdouble hockey sticks else would be wrong with it??!! They want $9.99 to send me another piece of crap screen protector!! I go back to the Apple Store, full Karen, and demand my money back from the manager (Michael)! I explain they engaged in false advertising and tricked me into paying $43 for this "excellent" (ie:piece of crap) screen protector with a free replacement "lifetime warranty" for chips, breaks etc. He tells me Belkin recently changed their policies -now charging shipping- not mentioning that they also don't cover chips or breaks- only "manufacturers defects", but he is going to tell all his employees to disclose this info. from now on! He's already told me they changed it "a week or so ago" and they've had "several" people in complaining already- so why hasn't he told them already?! I ask what good does the do me now? He couldn't even pinpoint when it had been implemented- was it changed before I bought it? I told him they tricked me into buying it, and needed to give my money back. He told me he couldn't "because it was broken"!!! I told him retailers take defective, crappy broken items back every day, that's why people return things! He agreed, but still said I'd have to take it up with Belkin- that he'd seen people get their money back, so I could to (do customers drive back to the mall, park, go in and shake his hand to tell him they were successful in getting their money back? C'mon man!!) Apple. One of the most successful companies on the planet. Pushing shi**** screen protectors, not stopping when they find out Belkin's not honoring the warranty, and not refunding the funky little $43 for the crappy screen protectors with no warranty against breakage! No other choice, I do as told. I call Belkin. I wait over 50 min. for a rep. After another 15 min. of arguing and having to bring out my Karen, yet again, and ask for a manager- all they offer me is a "one-time" exception for the shipping fee, but, if it's broken again (it will be- it's crappy) they will not cover it- and I will have to pay them $9.99 for another crappy screen protector. I made sure to get the one that can be applied with the machine at the Apple Store (other reviewers mention this. If and when I get it, I'm going to take it back to Michael, the "manager" at Park Meadows, pull out Karen one last time and firmly ask for my money back for the unbroken screen protector- so they can pawn it off on somebody else. I'm pretty frickin' sure Michael is not going to give me my money back for the unbroken one either. He was making up excuses for why he couldn't, faster than I could make my case why he should.
Anyone who starts a class action lawsuit, I'm in! Sign me up!

Don't buy Belkin and don't trust Apple will help you resolve it
Same story as other customers, paid £35 for lifetime warranty on Belkin screen cover sold to me by Apple. Apple employee reassured me 'no catch'. Well we all know what the catch is now, you have very little chance of speaking to Belkin when your online renewal is rejected. I just called Apple and they now say it's nothing to do with them even though they sold it to me as a great deal. I know it's just a screen cover but this is unscrupulous business practice at the very least. Apple should take some responsibility for selling this product in their store to their customers. Avoid Belkin, you've been warned by all the people on here.
