BELKIN - another word for BILK in
After many years of avoiding Belkin because of bad experiences with several of their products and horrible customer service in the early days of my computer career, I broke down and bought their "Invisiglass Ultra" iphone screen protector at my local Apple store holding my breath that they had improved over the years. Now I usually don't devote much time expressing my opinions unless the product or service I am reviewing is notably great or horribly bad. I'm here to tell you that I've been burned badly with this crappy product and even worse by Belkin's crappy customer service. The screen protector leaves a portion of the screen exposed around all four edges! The Belkin screen protector not only shattered when the phone fell fifteen inches to the pavement, so too did the exposed portion of the iphone screen in four places! While I never expected Belkin to do anything about the accident, their website is so LAME that it cannot even perform the task of creating a new user account … even after 6 attempts and several hours of wasted effort. The online instructions and procedure for "registering" your Belkin product is as crappy as the products they bilk you for … hence the name BILKIN! Since Belkin cannot be reached, and I know this because I was placed on two never-ending holds when I called them, I will take this JUNK and my opinions back to the Apple store in Frisco, Texas and then get some satisfaction out of letting the world know about Belkin on social media.
