if i could give minus stars i would after my insurance deciding to use this company for the strip out and restoration technicians expertise it has been nothing but lies, cover ups, chasing, loss of paper work, muddles with other jobs, builders with no tools, builders from east london north london cambridge and other places turning up unannounced or not atall. simple builder stuff could be over looked but 3months later i'm still left with a wall that hasn't been surveyed yet has the fuse board attached to it, i have black mould from the incomplete strip out, i have electricians leaving wires dangling, shelves dangling from wires even, i have been lied to and cover after cover up and no honesty to the whole company as a whole worst thing is even after having to chase and cover every square inch of what they do and their many many faults too many to mention here .. i cannot make a complaint against them as they don't even have a complaints policy to follow and so it is referred back to the insurance company who will do NOTHING because Belfour are saying they're not responsible the level of incompetence is below what any company should ever be and how they get away with it is beyond me and beyond a joke!!! i have lost thoasands in warped doors not listed on the scopes, thoasands when told blatantly electric goods could not be reinstated as it would not be safe for them to do so and sign them off to them be told i wasn't told that!!! they don't get back to you, they don't care, this goes back to mid may it is now early august and they've washed their hands leaving me with dust dirt sawdust sand floor battons worn nails sticking up all over the place i've had to sort, just AWFUL!!

Started dealing with BELFOR after water damage from a broken pipe whilst we were on holiday. I had to chase them myself every day for taking out flooring, dryers, asbestos tests, electricians, plumbers, builders, storage units. The list goes on. It’s been nothing but constantly being on the phone to them for one thing or another because they don’t keep you in the loop without you ringing them. Don’t get me wrong each tradesperson was lovely but headoffice should be keeping customers informed of works that are needing to be done etc. Wouldn’t be dealing with them in the future if I can help it, only dealing with them because my insurance company instructed them to do most the work.

After we contacted our insurance company about replacing the shingles on our roof, we immediately (45 mins later) had a phone call from Curtis Aiken with Belfor. He soon made a site visit and thereafter we made arrangments with a roofer. We live in a semi detached unit, and Belfor was able to help make arrangements such that the same roofer also did our shared neighbors roof. We heartily commend and recommend Belfor and their staff for professionalism and excellent service.

They take your money and then you don't hear from them for over 2 months.. I have been regularly chasing them via phone and email and they replied 2x saying they are waiting for the subcontractor to confirm glass delivery time... no word about whether they actually spoke to them on the phone or proof of their attempts to solve this situation since i can only speak to them and I paid them directly. Seems like a big scam and I am stuck with no money and no repair or update on the repair date. Check in advance in case your insurance company works with them and ask for another one.

Nu har vi skadet indbo/sager stående på 9 md (skaden skete d . 7/9 23 )og i har stadig ikke hentet det men pengene har har i fået af forsikringen men jeg kan jo læse at det er et stor problem og rydde op efter jer selv, men nu er det sådan at der kommer nye ejer af det hus vi er flyttet fra og jeg har nævnt at I mangler og rydde op

Absolutely horrible company. No communication and took over 3 1/2 months to complete the job. I had to argue with them about everything even taking away the old items. Would not call back or show up several times.

My son recommended Belfor to me when a leak from the condo upstairs caused damage to my condo. He had them do repairs on his home and was extremely satisfied. The crew at Belfor are very professional and kind. They took what could have been a disastrous situation & repaired, replaced and made things better than they were before the flood. Every member of their team treated me as if I were their most important client they had. They even befriended my little dog & made sure to talk to him! In a situation where things could have turned out much different, Belfor made the whole experience pleasant!

In September of last year a person crashed their car into the front of our house. Our insurance company assigned the repairs to Belfor Restoration Barrie. Right from the start, we realized that we were very fortunate that our insurance company picked Belfor Barrie. John, Greg, Brad and Joe went out of their way to repair our house as painlessly as it could be under the circumstances. These men were very friendly, professional and skilled. They took the time and care to restore our house to the condition it was before the accident. We can not say enough good things about these guys. We could not have asked for a better team. Thank you John, Greg, Brad and Joe.
