BECUReviews of becu.org

I wondered about Trustpilot, so i searched to see the reviews for BECU. I've been a member for 40 years and they haven't let me down once... and they have a 1.7 rating here???

I truly appreciate the outstanding service I’ve received from BECU. Their team is always professional, helpful, and committed to making banking simple and stress‑free. I value the Member Advantage benefits and the way they encourage active engagement with my accounts. From clear communication to reliable support, BECU has consistently gone above and beyond. I feel confident knowing my finances are in good hands, and I’m proud to say BECU will continue to be my go‑to credit union.

Exceptional Business Banking Experience – Seattle Hill BECU I scheduled an appointment to open a business account at BECU—my wife and I already use them for personal banking and they never disappoint. I arrived early and was warmly greeted by Branch Manager Mr. Rodriguez, who knew my name and exactly why I was there. His knowledge of business banking and attention to detail made the process smooth and reassuring for someone new to starting a business. Later, I worked with Renée, who was equally outstanding—thorough, kind, and incredibly helpful. She walked my wife and me through the process, made sure we were set up correctly, and explained everything clearly. I returned again to handle a business fee and once more, Renée provided excellent service and support. This branch sets the gold standard for customer service and professionalism. Highly recommend them if you’re launching a business or just want a bank that truly cares!

What is up with all of these less than average ratings form unsatisfied customers of BECU? In my honest opinion and seeing as how I have been a loyal customer with BECU for over 10 years, I’ve had nothing but great things to say about this company! They’ve always helped me with questions that boggled my mind, to small minuscule questions that seem so simple, that I could have even answered myself. They’ve even refunded me back a few thousand dollars when I got duped from a big company in Chicago! 5 stars all around for BECU! My family, friends and myself have nothing but outstanding things to say about the way employees at BECU handle us and our quirky ways as loyal customers! Thanks a bunch BECU!

BECU has always been very helpful to our family. Their online banking is superior to my friends’ online banking experience, and many have switched over to them. I’ve had a home equity loan for improvements through BECU and it was managed with expertise and great care. Those in the BECU office are always so pleasant and helpful. Kudos to BECU!

I have had nothing but great experiences with BECU! I can’t believe all of these 1 and 2 star ratings! They’re always on it when something goes wrong. I can’t keep track of how many times I’ve needed to talk to someone about some discrepancies I’ve had with them or myself, and they would be able to resolve each and every one. I guess it depends on what branch you deal with! The ones in the PNW have all been great to work with. Thank you BECU. I can truly say that after 10 years+ of banking with you I haven’t had one bad thing to say about you guys! All positive!

I had a recent bad experience (been with BECU since the mid-90's). I was ready to pull my accounts and move to another credit union. But I thought about if for a few days and then decided to reach out so that they knew about it and they responded above and beyond to fix the situation. I was really impressed afterwards. If you happen to have a negative experience please reach out to them - feedback helps business improve and sometimes they honestly do not know if employees may not following best practices in dealing with customers.
