Tools appear to be of good quality
Tools appear to be of good quality. My only surprise was the thickness of the steel on the palm tools (about 2mm ). Perhaps they are made for use on harder wood than I use (basswood). I was able to re-profile the cutting edges to be acceptable for my purposes.

Right out of the box the tool is sharp…
Right out of the box the tool is sharp and ready to use. It’s nice that it comes with a leather blade protector. Handle is from a good selection of wood, not seconds. I look forward to trying more of the Beaver craft line of tools.

C15 detail knives - Great buy for my novices
These knives arrived in Australia from Ukraine within a fortnight of ordering which is quicker than I'd imagined. They were bought to use in some whittling workshops I was planning and hoped they'd be good for novice's. It turns out that these knives though not the best on the market are great for my beginners. They're robust and can stand some abuse, hold an edge fairly well and are comfortable to hold. I am pleased with my purchase.

Good value
These appear to be good knives that are a good value for the money. Having a left hand scoop knife was a great benefit to me. Would buy again.

I was looking for a small carving set
I was looking for a small carving set - found Beavercraft tools to be well-made and ready to use out of the box. Shipping cost was fair and delivery was unbelievably fast. I really like the excellent videos that help beginners with tips and tricks on a wide variety of different projects.
