Disappointing Experience – Misleading Information & Terrible Communication I placed an order for the Masterbuilt Gravity Series XT Digital Charcoal Grill and Smoker on 07/07/25, based on the information provided on bbqgrills.com. Their website clearly stated that the grill was in stock and ready to ship, with most items shipping within 24-48 hours and a maximum of 5-7 days for delivery. This sounded great, and I was excited to get my grill quickly. Fast forward to 07/19/25, and after hearing nothing, I reached out to get an update. On 07/21/25, I received an apology email stating that their warehouse had been inundated with orders for Masterbuilt products (not my problem) and their inventory had been depleted. Oddly enough, the website still shows this grill as “in stock and ready to ship,” but at a $300 increase in price. Clearly, something is off. The email went on to say that they were working to ship all Masterbuilt orders within 7-10 days. However, at this point, my order is still stuck at "processing" with no indication of when it will actually ship. I’m extremely disappointed by this experience. bbqgrills.com misled me by advertising the grill as in stock and ready to ship, when in fact, they didn’t have it. Not only that, they followed up with a second misleading response, providing no clarity on when I could expect my order. It seems like they underpriced the grill just to get orders and then couldn’t fulfill them at that price. Now, other retailers have the same product (at a higher cost), but at least they're being honest about availability. It honestly feels like they want me to cancel my order, so they don't have to honor the original price. This experience has left me frustrated, and I won’t be ordering from bbqgrills.com again. Terrible customer service and deceptive practices all around. Avoid at all costs.

After weeks of ignored emails, false promises about shipping timelines, and frustrating interactions with customer support, it's clear their "family values" are nothing but hollow marketing. Don't fall for the hypocrisy—this company doesn't care about customers or honoring their word. Shop elsewhere.

I ordered a Kamado Joe in May 2025 for $1,400 because it was a bit cheaper than the rest. What a mistake. It's July 30 - still no grill. Just got the run-around, just like the other reviewers here. On July 21, I emailed them requesting a full refund. No response. I emailed them again. On July 20, I called and they said they'd give me a refund within 5-7 business days. Wish I read these comments three months ago and just bought it from Ace and paid a hundred bucks more. What is up with this company?

Ordered grill may 25th. They said it was in stock and ready to ship in 5-7 days (still says that on the website). After 2 weeks I called and they said there was a “catastrophe” at their warehouse and they would be able to ship in 2-4 weeks. I called in early July for an update as my emails went unanswered. I was told that they had inventory issues but would ship by July 30th at the latest. Never shipped, this company is a scam.

Ordered 3 weeks ago. They took my money. Now nothing. Have emailed customer service 4 times.

Placed order June 25. No communication since the email confirmation. Tried email and phone multiple times. Crickets. Charged back on the credit card. Stay away.

Order placed and paid for on 6/25/25. The order confirmation states the unit is in stock and ready to ship. Started calling/emailing/chatting with 'customer service' on 7/25. No answer other than 'unit is backordered'. Couldn't tell me when the unit might ship. When I asked for written confirmation I was hung up on. Stay far away from this company

Scam. Tracking always says processing and order will be shipped in 5-7 business days. Called after 7 business days and was told warehouse is on a 3 week delay. I had already done some research and discovered this is a bad company. The "3 week delay" is just a delaying tactic on their part. So I asked for a refund and they did send an email confirming a refund. However, after two weeks and no refund to my credit card I filed a dispute. Avoid giving this scam company your money! If you have already bought something, don't fall for their delaying tactics, they are just trying to delay you past the credit card dispute deadline.
