We decided to take the plunge and try Batelle on the recommendation of a friend after nearly 3 years of sleep deprivation. The sleep training that worked for our first child was not working for our second. The natural step-by-step progression of the Batelle program built trust between my daughter and I and she slowly began to feel safer in her own bed. I also took advantage of the live zoom calls on a few of the days to build my own confidence and game plan before bedtime. Now every morning my daughter cheers, "I sleep in my bed all night! Mama is proud of me!"

When you're looking for a little guidance and find so much more!
We made a pact that if our son wasn't sleeping well through the night by 18 months, and after reading all the books and trying all the tricks, that we'd reach out for a professional helping hand. What we found in Batelle was everything we could have hoped for in a helping hand - we found a community of professional, experienced, compassionate, and consistent people who were dedicated to supporting us and our son through the journey to find sleep independence.
We hadn't slept through the night in over a year, and as hard as that was, we felt the worst about not being able to give our son what he needed to get those long, restorative, developmentally-essential long sleeps. We were almost there and we had such a great routine in place, our little guy just needed to hold his mum's hand to fall back to sleep during middle of the night wakings. It was small, but meaningful, and after months sleeping on the floor next to his crib to try and help him find a way to keep sleeping, we reached the end of what was an unsustainable road.
Batelle gave us tools to build a better structure of security and trust for our son to choose sleep. And he did! We travel, there are a lot of environmental factors living in a bit city, and there have been many ups and downs as he's taken big developmental leaps week to week, but we have resources and knowledge of a process built on science and compassion that we know works.
There is nothing more meaningful than feeling like you're not alone during some of the hardest moments of parenthood. At 3am when we were exhausted, our Batelle team were there with us in real time chatting through steps and solutions, or just giving strength and comfort; at 9am going to work after a long night, they were there to talk through ideas on calls and to champion the efforts of our little guy learning and growing through the process.
Batelle is everything we could have hoped for - we were just hoping and looking for a little guidance, but it was so much more than we could have expected. Sleep for littles can be really hard, but you don't have to work through it alone, and that's the difference worth everything.

I’m so grateful for Batelle
I am so happy I chose Batelle. My almost 17 months daughter is now sleeping thru the night in her crib. I gave birth at home and since the day I held her in my arm she almost never left by my side. We co slept and especially after one year old she became very heavy on night feeding ( to the point where she needed to nurse every hour) also every hour during the day and always fed to sleep. It was very very hard to break the habit.
We first looked into other sleep training and had a call and worked with “Sleep Sense” consultant for few days leaning about their method. From the first call I knew it wasn’t for us. It was so opposite from everything I believed in. The style was very masculine and even the consultant was disempowering me and shaming me. Made me feel like a bad mom. How my daughter should be sleeping thru the night at this age and what I’m doing was not healthy etc… plus their way was the only way the baby will sleep thru the night and make you feel like you have no power but follow and listen to this sleep coach. Cuz it’s not empowering education to the parents we just follow them on the days of “crying it out nights” happens. They won’t share too much before the day. (Their Online course was better but nothing special but make you think their way is the only way) it’s set up like they have the power and control over vulnerable sleep deprivation mom. At the end, I, of course didn’t do their cry it out method. My gut was telling me there must be a better way. But it stressed me out so much and we wasted so much money on them.
But I found Batelle soon after and from the first free consultation to the end of our journey. They didn’t not disappoint but kept exceeding my expectations. The material on the app was so educational and it just make sense. (I’m like this is what it supposed to be) I can’t believe the old cry it out method is still out there. Batelle method is super gentle approach and very effective. More feminine and nurturing for the baby! Reading the materials and watching the video the night before with my husband together was also very nice to reconnect with my husband.
The support was so amazing. Very empowering and supportive. They responded me anytime and right away even at 3,4am. I had so much emotional support. The journey did take 2-3 weeks but made everything so much easier and enjoyable. I highly recommend Batelle and I am so grateful.
I also feel very empowered as a mom to make the right decision for my daughter and know that I used my instinct every night for my daughter’s emotion, condition and also the sleep environment(some nights were cold and hot I was able to support my daughter as needed, never left her alone by ignoring til the morning)
This is where we are at after 3 weeks: my daughter is 16 months almost 17months. With Batelle we were able to naturally wean her from nursing every hour all day to now ONLY 3 times a day(morning, before nap and 30-40mins before bed time) She love her room and bed time routine. When she is sleepy she said night night and points to her room wanting to go to her room. She doesn’t mind going to her crib too. When I turn off the light and she lay down I stay close to her crib until she falls a sleep but usually takes 5-30mins max without crying she self sooth by singing, talking and playing laying down by herself and falls to sleep.
Then I leave her room and my husband and I sleep in the master bedroom with the camera. I hear her turn and toss but she sleep thru the night until 5am around this time she wakes up and calls me so I go into her room and I tap her back and body brush her body and she falls back to sleep until 7am then she wakes up happy and wanted to come out from the crib and want to nurse happy.
Weaning her to now only 3 times a day is already so huge for us. Now she enjoys the solid food a lot more too. Her sleeping until 5 am may sounds early but I am already so happy compare to being woken up every hour and her latching on me all night long. So I totally don’t mind waking up at 5am to check on her.
I notice the day she had full day out in the sun. She falls a sleep faster and sleep longer. Plus I can see that she TRUST me that I’m there even tho I’m not in her room and she feels safe in her own bed. Even though we don’t co-sleep anymore (many nights i miss her- I almost want to go to her room to sleep) but I know we are connected and have trust and in this way, I feel very at peace.
We are so grateful for Batelle team now and forever :):):)
Thank you!!

Lifechanging, honestly…
We went into this with the mindset that we’d be happy with any improvement, even slight, and with the assumption that it would probably take months for our daughter to fully improve. She ended up sleeping through the night by the fourth night of Sleep School and we can now put her in her crib awake, say goodnight & leave the room, and she puts herself to sleep. We would look at each other in disbelief each night that we were seeing such improvement. Not to mention we also weaned her off the pacifier at the same time! Such a wonderful and supportive experience. Looking forward to continued learning as we navigate new challenges soon like travel.

Our path to sleep
My husband and I started off our journey with Luca who first welcomed us to Batelle. We had been searching for a non cry it out sustainable long term sleep solution we like to say. We were very confident after our initial call with Luca who understood what we were feeling and assured us that we were not alone. To give some back ground my baby is 6 1/2 months old and since birth has coslept, nursed to sleep, and woken up every hour throughout the night to nurse. To top that all off when the four month sleep regression hit all of his naps stopped. We joined Batelle babies at 5 1/2 months as a last hope. Kim helped us successfully nail down naps in Batelle babies and break our feed to sleep association. She provided two different nap schedules and each day we worked on them and finally we were getting great day time sleep! Unfortunately for us the last piece of the puzzle didn’t come together until we joined Batelle sleep school at 6 months. We joined sleep school honestly a little nervous maybe even scared since we couldn’t fix nights in Batelle babies. (But I will say I’m sure we were a very severe case lol) the first half of sleep school was so hard. I wanted to quit. But every night and every day I reached out for support. And every night and every day someone responded with encouragement and was there to help during not only every part of the night but the hardest parts. I’ll never forget the point that made me realize I could do this was night four after an hour of trying to convince my baby he could sleep my husband messaged and asked someone to help me over the monitor (I’m not sure why I waited so long I think I just thought I could do it alone lol). They jumped on immediately and talked me through everything. We got the baby to sleep as a team. Each night got better (even if sleep wasn’t better) to a point where we were getting excited to implement what we learned and we felt empowered knowing we had night support! By day 7 I was only messaging at night to brag about our wins! We are just starting night 10 but on night 9 we got 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep with only a few very brief wakings. We have never ever gotten more than a rare three hour sleep prior to Batelle. Batelle is a game changer for someone who is willing to put in the work for a long term solution to sleep. It’s a family and a team that will help you through your highs and lows and I couldn’t be more happy to have had this experience!

“It works!”
If you’re reading this, you’re probably sleep deprived and wondering if this Batelle sleep school is worth the hype and the investment. Im here to tell you, it IS!! I was once the parent that struggled to find energy to get up and have a whole day. I’d wonder how i was going to function after so many difficult back to back sleepless nights. Somehow i did but my brain was foggy and I wasn’t myself. It’s crazy how you kind of get used to functioning like that. I couldn’t take care of myself because I barely had the energy and I had no patience therefore I would let my frustration out on my loved ones and even my baby which made me feel awful! The guilt would eat me up. It was a vicious cycle. I hated who I was without sleep and I was just plain miserable because I couldn’t enjoy things like I wanted to. Sound familiar?
I remember when I found Batelle through a Google search and looking through all the reviews feeling hopeful like I finally found the answer to our problems! My husband wanted to wait because he thought my daughter was just going through a phase and he thought it was too much money. Turns out she wasn’t going through a phase as i suspected. Finally, he caved in and it has been the best decision we have made. I only wish we did it sooner!
My 10 month old is now sleeping 12 hours a night every night and napping super well! It is GLORIOUS! I feel like myself again and my baby is happier! It’s been the most amazing thing for our family!
When I asked my husband what he would say to other people about this program, he said “it works!”. He’s a man of few words but honestly that’s all you need to know. And with a money back gaurentee you can’t go wrong.
We received incredible support the entire way through and are so grateful to everyone on the amazing team!
Keep in mind, this is not a cry it out method but there will still be tears. However, you will always respond and support them. As a mom whose into psychology and childhood development, all their methods were sound! It will not be a walk in the park … it will take time, effort and patience but it is WORTH it, trust me! Stick it out and you’ll be sleeping soon.
Thank you batelle for this wonderful program! We are eternally grateful!

Batelle’s support continues throughout the years
I joined Batelle sleep school two years ago, when my youngest son was just 6 months and I was venturing back to work. My experience back then was remarkable and I have continued to share my experiences with friends and family ever since- it was truly life changing!
However, I’m writing this review because of my recent, unbelievable success with transitioning my now 2.5 year old from a crib to a toddler bed. I reached back out to Batelle to get a plan together, to hear their advice and to mentally prepare myself for a transition I know most parents dread. They were quick to connect and support me once again, helping me build confidence in our approach and meeting me exactly where I was in the process. When the time finally came for night 1 in his big boy bed, my son not only slept through the night, but he independently put himself to sleep without ONE tear or fuss at all! He’s been sleeping like this in his new bed, for naps and at night, for almost a week now, so this was not a fluke… it’s truly a demonstration of the Batelle Sleep School philosophy! All of their teachings and lessons are about the internal growth of independent sleep and how to empower that in our littlest loves. So when I think about it, it’s no wonder that a transition of a bed didn’t cause mass disruption to our routine, he’s been empowered for independent sleep, regardless of the location, for years now!
If you are questioning the worth of this school, stop now & just know, the investment of Batelle Sleep School in your life and the life of your little’s will continue to pay dividends for years to come.

So worth it
This experience was definitely worth the money. The only regret I have is not doing it sooner.
During sleep school it requires a lot of wake ups and tough nights but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Not only did this program help my almost 2 year old sleep better and consistent it has helped me better deal with those famous toddler tantrums. All I gotta say is don’t wait, don’t hesitate, just do it cause you will finally get to sleep and it feels soooooooo good!!!
