Website is flukey, Lots of errors, even after clicking 'pay'. Products aren't in stock as advertised, which they notify you after placing the hold on your card. Won't shop there again. Real shame that they killed Cabela's for this....

I ordered some fishing line for a memorial day trip. Paid expedited shipping and the line didn't get here on time, the problem was not the shipping company. Basspro took their sweet time to process the order, this company is crap and I will never purchase anything from them again.... I'll take my business over to Academy Sports instead

I recently tried to make a big purchase for a special!! trip 3 weeks out and I spent 4hrs navigating serious lag and having to rescroll and dodge pop ups. Finally got everything I needed, went to checkout, filled in all of my stuff and got an error. My husband and I tried two different bank cards of our that are 100% good and valid! still error. even called my bank to be certain. sent an email. got some bs covid response. simple online stuff that could be handled 100% online so I don't understand how covid is that big of an excuse to process payment for an order...guess basspro doesn't want customers to spend 400+bucks at their store.

Absolutely LIVID right now. Just drove an hour to get out here, then waited an hour and fifteen minutes in the sun, only to find out that I need to have my passport AND drivers license to get my rifle. Not that the multiple employees working around the line could have mentioned that before I stood there the whole damn time, because IT DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT BRINGING MY PASSPORT IN THE CHECKLIST PROVIDED BY BASS! This is the last straw in trying to get a rifle from this store. Since I started trying to handle this over two weeks ago, I've dealt with unhelpful and rude people when calling the store, trying to get the important info JUST LIKE THIS, multiple orders cancelled after they'd been confirmed and marked as "processing", slow shipping (somewhat understandable), and now this. I give up, Bass, this has been one off the WORST buying experiences I've had, and there's been some real $h!t shows... You've lost a customer and gained a negative review everywhere I can leave one.

Ordered a Primos Jellyhead shotgun choke on 4/22/20 from website, which indicated “In Stock” status. Received an email within an hour confirming receipt of order and that it was being processed. Have now received FOUR emails indicating the order has been “delayed” until 5/27/20 or later. HORRIBLE customer service. Johnny Morris should be ashamed.

If I can, I will give them no star, I order a Sawyer Mini for 30 Canadian dollars plus tax thru the Tsawwassen BC store and they charge me USD and my credit card bill 51 Dollars, Msg them 3 times and they never get back to me, worst company ever, I will never purchase anything from this company, Never in my life, STAY AWAY!

I made an online ammo purchase from Bass Pro, and I think it was a mistake that I won't make again. I understand that current conditions make for slow shipping time, and I am more than willing to work around that. However, the website misleadingly states that items are 'in stock', when they are not. Then the order gets placed on an infinite backorder status. I called the 800 number to cancel after over a month of waiting and getting pushed further back... but the rep hung up on me as soon as I stated that I'd called to cancel a back order. This was after waiting on hold for quite a long time. So I tried the online live chat support option... which they've stopped doing, apparently. Let me elaborate on how this makes no sense. If you try to use the "live chat", you get a message that says: "Please note, due to efforts to keep our workforce safe, we are temporarily unable to offer our live chat service". But, if you call the toll free number, a human answers, eventually. Tell me: what safer form of communication is there during a pandemic than online chat??? Something that can easily be done from home, much easier than phone communication, imo.... They don't want to use the online chat option because it is making it far too easy for disgruntled customers like myself to cancel their order, at least that's my opinion. They're using a pandemic as an excuse for poor service practices, and that is far more despicable than the actual bad service ever was. After all that, I attempted the email support system. I haven't yet received a response, of course... But we'll see where it goes. You learn a lot about how people really operate when times are hard, and I've learned all I need to know about this outfit. No thanks, in the future I'll support my small local businesses, I can at least depend on them to be honest and accountable. I'd rather pay an extra few dollars than support a large entity with poor & dishonest business practices.
