Basis Pet (Not Basic Pet)Reviews of basispet.com

I had to look long and hard to find good quality stainless steel bowls for my four Cotons. I wanted simple design, stainless only, no decoration, etc. I want to be able to put them in the dishwasher every day. Two comments: 1. The rolled rim tends to hold water from the dishwasher and train for a few minutes when you take them out. 2. I wish you had more options on sizes for dog food, I am using the cat bowls but if they were a tad deeper and less wide it would be great. love the product

I have ordered antlers before, they are usually small and expensive but I was happily surprised that the antlers I ordered from Basis were bigger than I expected:) I am also totally thrilled with the quality of the stainless steel bowls especially since I am sick of using bowls made in India and China:( I am not as thrilled with the plastic bowl holders, while they are sturdy and do hold the bowl in place they are just sort of a pain to piece together when you have hungry dogs leaping around wanting their meal. Overall though I would absolutely order from them again and was totally amazed at how quickly I got my order:)

For years I have been looking for human grade stainless steel for my dogs. I was delighted to find Basis Pet. I was very impressed with the background and research the company has done on ensuring that the metal used is tested to the highest safety standards available. On top of that the company delivered the bowls, which are beautiful, on time and accompanying the bowls was a very nice note from the owner with his number and email saying to contact him if I had any issues or questions. My experience could not have been better with Basis Pet and I plan on purchasing bowls in the future

I had searched for good quality bowls for my cat for some time now, and I finally ordered two from Basis Pet (although this first order was through a third party). I have an older cat who needs a lot of water, but the problem was that he kept knocking over his water bowl. The bowls that I received came in a very timely manner and are of good quality. Even the small bowl holds enough water for him, without my having to fill it several times a day. But he still tried to knock it over. So I went to Basis Pet's website and ordered the coasters for the bowls. I received these also in a timely manner, and they have worked wonders. He is drinking the water and cannot knock them over. Yes, you can buy cheaper bowls other places, but through Basis Pet you are paying for good quality, MADE IN THE USA, easy to clean, stainless steel, pet friendly products. Thank you very much.

We ordered two large bowls for our pup. We have used many over the years and I must say that these were very heavy duty and well put together. Our dog loves the round bottom on them and even though he has been a picky eater for years he has been cleaning them out ( I am wondering if he finds the shape easier to eat out of). I also highly recommend the hemp rope tugs. Our gordon setter brings his to bed with him and they have held up very well! I will certainly be supporting Basis Pet in the future. Thanks

I recently purchased a couple of stainless steel pet bowls from Basis Pet. I have to say these bowls are a much better quality than the ones you would find in a pet store. I placed my order, the items were shipped priority mail and I had them within 2 days. I'm very happy with my purchase from Basis Pet, and I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you!

I ordered 2 of the large dog bowls with the stands to get away from the toxic plastic products. Love the bowls, they are very nice. I was expecting them to be bigger but they work fine for me 2 corgis. They are of very high quality.

I have been reading about stainless steel dog food bowls made in India and China. The bowls are made of stainless steel that may have lead or mercury. I found these bowls at basis pet. I was quite surprised by the quality of these bowls. I just wish I had got the medium size bowls. I always look for "Made in the USA". I will be buying other products from basis pet.
