Hello, my name is Vern Marchand and I'm the NEW OWNER of Basements.com (also known as CustomBasements.com).I purchased this great dot com in 2024 and proudly use it for my 5 Star Basement Finishing Company in Colorado, USA... I have absolutely no affiliation with the previous ownership.My goal is to EARN the trust of my potential clients, not just ask for it. Which is why I've claimed ownership of this Basements.com page on Trustpilot, even with the previous ownerships' less than stellar, earned ratings.I'm proud of my small company, started in 2020, but my designing and building experience began back in 1996. I've since been Colorado State Certified and have earned the trust of hundreds of amazing people while successfully completing their projects. I understand the importance of any project and truly appreciate it when a client trusts us to come through for them. We obviously finish and remodel Basements, but we also offer complete home improvement services such as; bathrooms, kitchens, wet bars, flooring, painting, patios, decks, framing, doors, trim, drywall, insulation, hvac, electrical and plumbing services (+more!).Thank you for YOUR understanding and for reading this introduction. The installers did an awesome job
The installers did an awesome job. But didn’t finish the job. I called and told them but no one has contacted me back! Just like buying a new car having no service after the sale!

Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing does Superior Work!
Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing does superior work. They waterproofed our basement about 5 years ago. We have not had any water issues since they installed a second sump-pump pit and installed two sump pumps with a 7 year warranty on each. They also installed a battery backup sump pump unit for power outages. In addition they installed a new drainage system around the entire inside basement to facilitate draining to the sump pumps. We are very pleased with the contractor's work.

Basement water-proofing
Great job. Since having number of problems, I finally contact Mid- Atlantic and the staff was great from beginning to the end.

There were a few outstanding issues…
There were a few outstanding issues that were quickly addressed and fixed to my approval. Phone calls were promptly returned. Workers were neat and polite.

Very professional
The crew arrived, did their job and cleaned up. The crew and leader were very professional and excellent at their jobs. The follow-up has explained well and the maintenance of the sump pumps and the details about the warranties. I had Mid-Atlantic do work for me when I was in the military and was pleased with their work and was more than happy to have them do work for me now I would highly recommend them to anyone.
