Custom Basements LLCReviews of basements.com

My basement has not been dry since the work was done. They plugged a natural drain for the water that was coming in one side and going out the other. They put in 2 sump pumps that were not needed but run 24/7 now. I have water coming in the middle of the basement floor and it has no where to drain out therefore my so called waterproof basement is now wetter than ever. To add insult to injury all the telephone numbers I have are "Not in Service"!! I would like someone from some branch of this company to contact me.

There was very poor communication from the company to us when our instalation date was changed to over a month later and then again when it got closer to the new instalation date again we were not notified if they were comming and we had to try and contact them the day before the instalation date if they were comming to start the work better communication is needed as far as the instalation the company that did the work did a good job with everything we were pleased when it was completed

Poor customer service response time, fail to return calls for repair service requests. Customer needs to be improved.

I know the contract said that the basement would be broom swept after the work, but that did not include the walls, pipes, rafters and items I had piled in the middle of the floor (they were covered with plastic which was removed before the operation was complete.). Cleaning up after the project took 26 hours of work, There was an 1/8 inch layer of cement dust on all the pipes and heater and hot water heater, stairs, railings, window sills and anywhere dust could settle vertically, horizontally and diagonally. To clean it was a chore I had not bargained for. I would suggest that Mid Atlantic include in the price, or offer as an add on, the services of a professional house cleaner to clean up after its laborers have left. I cannot rate the system, I don't think its ever kicked on, but I can say that I was disgruntled with the cleaning chore left behind.

Basically we were told the team would only be devoted to us during our servicing which didn't happen the crew bounced back and forth between us and another house and the crew also did not realize at the time but put all our drainage holes into mortar so we still get leaks cause it's not like they'll go in and fix it properly they just get repairing little by little as it becomes a problem and I tell the service guys every time but no one cares to address the real problem so oh well your guys lost on profits

Don't think I could recommend them. They have had to come back twice to fix leaks in the basement. When they had originally finished, things in the basement were a mess. My husband and I had to clean everything even though they said they would cover it all with plastic. The plastic was thinner than plastic wrap and did not keep the dust off. Also big pieces of wood were left in the basement for us to get rid of.

7600.00 for the front wall of my home and it still leaks terribly and the techs remedy is put up gutters..i was told when I had it done that this fix would take care of any water coming in at this wall..i have complained and not fixed yet , was done a year ago..will not recommend this company !!
