I had weight loss surgery on 3/21/24. After the surgery I felt lost and didn’t feel supported by my weight loss clinic. I was searching for support and found it in Bariatric Rewrite. The best decision I ever made. It was fantastic to be surrounded by people who understand and relate. I all the sudden had support 24/7. I joined July 1st and am currently down just shy of 40 pounds in 3 months. I am less than 8 pounds from my first goal I set with Shenelle. If you are thinking about bariatric surgery, had surgery and need guidance, I would recommend joining. Surgery is a tool! You need the support for life!

I had a revision in November and had come to a complete standstill by April. I found Shenelle through Facebook and started the group program and the academy. The group program offered one on on coaching, small group interaction/instruction and food log reviews. The academy offers sessions weekly, a community of supporters and an abundant variety of resources. I have lost 23 pounds since joining! I wish I would have known about this sooner!

A lovingly cultivated community full of like minded people, wading our way through the hard part before, during or after surgery. All the support you could ever want! I’m a 1:1 client with Shenelle, the amount of time dedicated to me is incredible. I’ve lost 30lbs in the 2 months I’ve been here and learned a lifetimes worth of knowledge. I have worked with Shenelle on and off for the past year or two. I joined the four month Post-op April group to get myself back on track as I noticed my weight creeping up and bad habits going away. Joining the Bariatric Rewrite’s 4 month program has changed my life. I am 5 years post op from the sleeve, and when I had my surgery the education and support just wasn’t there. I found Shenelle back in March and joined the 4 month program. Since then I have learned all about myself, food addiction, and the right way to eat. I have lost over 15 pounds so far and I’m not even half way done with the program. The ladies in my group are amazing and I have more support than I could ever imagined. I highly recommend to anyone needing that push to get to there goal or just needing to maintain.

Shenelle guided me through the necessary behavior changes I needed I. Order to see success after my surgery. My sleeve didn’t create the restrictions that many others feel so I had to figure out how to address my compulsive eating and the most effective approach to a new lifestyle. Shenelle is not only a source of inspiration but has a wealth of knowledge and experience! Without her I am certain I would be joining the many people whose Bariatric journey ends in failure.
