As someone who has struggled with weight and food addiction all my life, it's so easy to fall into the rabbit hole of fad diets and internet misinformation. This can't be even more true for the bariatric community. I am so early in my journey and discovered Shenelle on TikTok. Her videos were so straight to the point, in your face and bluntly honest about not only her own journey but the shared experiences of others in her bariatric community. I participated in her free Food Addicts 101 workshop and was instantly hooked. (Pun intended) I joined her Bariatric Rewrite Acadamy last month, approx 2 weeks before I was scheduled to have my surgery and the support I had access to was so informative. The community she had culminated varies from many stages, pre-op to many years post op. She tackles food addiction, and regain after surgery. Shenelle is genuinely unique! I found the honesty and straightforward approach I sought in a coach. I became a member before my surgery in December of 2023. Even at 71 years old, I am successfully shedding weight. Her coaching method focuses on transforming your relationship with food and how you perceive yourself. The Zoom sessions are fantastic, and the group support is consistently there for you.

The post op group is the best idea. Chenelle and Seda teach, guide and support us without judging us. They bring us specialists in bariatric surgery and food addiction to help us. They are always available to answer any questions we might have. I am so thankful I found this group!!
