Do not use greenwood!!! Cash app has cancelled a few transactions and when they finally expired over a week later greenwood put them in as 0.00 transactions instead of 210, 110, 100, & 50! Leaving me $480 short in my account. They keep telling me it'll be 24-48 hours before compliance contacts me but this started 8/21/23! No word from anyone at all. I call and call but nothing. I just need the money back in my account now!

Do NOT bank with Greenwood. There is no benefit to do so. They will hold deposits and refunds longer than necessary and give you excuses like, “We do not see s deposit/refund,” If the wait time for a refund or deposit is 7-10 business days, count on waiting that entire time. No worth it.

I was unable to initiate a transfer from Greenwood to another bank account.  Emailed and called, no one could tell me why.  Access to ATMs to take money out is a joke, and I reside in a large city!  The ATM locator in the Greenwood app actually says to deposit money, nothing about how to withdraw cash without incurring fees!  Tried to use the card at another bank......it would not even READ the card.  I looked past the glitches in the app, the app constantly removing my password and forcing me to sign in rather than use the offered biometrics sign in, the compromising of my account and then charging ME for a card replacement, and the very limited customer service.  My confidence in the "service" and the security of my deposited funds has waned.   I was so eager to support the cause, but Greenwood has let me down.  They need to do better if you expect people to support.  I now have to wait 15 days for a check to be issued and mailed to me since I just closed my account.  I'm beyond disappointed.

Man, I'm disappointed that this bank isn't working out for me. You can't access your account online at all, you can only use their app. But their app doesn't work. Google Play tells me there's a "known bug" and that's why it won't open. So I can't see my account, move any money, pay anything, stop any recurring transfers etc. AND, the only ATM map they publish is within the app! I can't even find an ATM to get my money out. There is no place online to close an account either. If this is your backup or savings account, maybe you'd be okay using them. But if you need access to your money like a regular checking account, consider this your red flag. It would be one star except that it is Black and Latino-owned, so they get another star for equity

Very bad customer service lost money no one to talk to plus can't plaid with my banks

Hi I do not like that fact I have to purchase a GREENDOT card @ $4.95 just to make a deposit to my account. Im retired and DO NOT WANT my retirement check going to direct deposit at Greenwood. I'm not satisfied at all .

I have been unable to transfer money into my account since I opened it, sadly. I was really looking forward to using this account too.
