This company is Trash!!!!! I Do Not Recommend this trash ass Bank for Anyone. They have been holding my deposit since 07/31/2024 from my employer the thing about it I have been bank with them for 2 years now same employer nothing has changed… so if you have something important to pay I advice you Not to Mess with this Bank… Customer Service is Trash!!!! English is Trash can not understand rep at all..

Would give zero stars if I could. They consistently lock your account and deny card transactions and you have to call to unlock it. They make you wait 24 hrs to access your own money. Customer service reps aren’t even 24 hrs. So you are just an out of luck. Seriously don’t waste your time. Countless problems . Tried to give black owned a chance. They should have done more prep before they decided to do this.

I had an account with them for about one week a couple of years ago. They continually bombard me with emails. I don't think there are any live people there. I must be dealing with a very dumb computer. The phone number they give does not work. Stay away from these clowns.

I just closed my account. The representatives are rude. The only plus to using this Bank was I received my direct deposit early. Capital one also has this option.

Wow! I am currently awaiting my new debit card that was supposed to be fedex to me. I can't access my money this weekend at all. I just had two scams happen to my account and I tried my best to give them a chance. I don't recommend this bank at all. One pro is that you get your direct deposit early.

If I could give negative stars there wouldn't be enough. My account was hacked in January. I sent all the proof they asked me for why am I still fighting these people to get my money back. The saddest thing is my card was locked. The customer representatives are unprofessional, unknowledgeable and a supervisor or team lead is never available. I've been waiting to hear back from a supervisor 2 weeks. I'm excited for the people who have had better experiences. I'm very displeased.

I thought when I opened the account I was coming to a financial platform that was a better alternative to the big banks. However, I have found them to be more heartless than the big banks. I’m dealing with a death in the family and deposited a check from my church and they placed a seven day hold on it. Once I called customer service they told me your funds will be available in another 4 business days and there is nothing we can do! THANKS GREENWOOD !

I will continuously write terrible reviews for this company. As long as it stands I was hospitalized in 2022 and they allowed someone to overdraw my bank account of $30,000. Yes you read that correct $30,000 I open my account in 2021 within intentions of supporting a black owned bank, which I thought was a very amazing idea Turns out to be one of the worst experiences of my life as I was sick and pregnant with my son countless days sent countless emails and made over 200 phone calls to this company as my bank account drained each and every day. When I moved with my family and switched over all of my information, they denied my dispute because of address verification , but my information was never changed in their system. I am still to this day December 13, 2023 fighting to get my money back. It’s gone over to me working with the FIC and several lawyers just to get this resolved. I will never in my life be a part of coastal community Bank nor Greenwood Bank ever again
