Banfield Pet HospitalReviews of banfield.com

Ashley, the manager of the North Arlington, TX, branch of Banfield is phenomenal, and truly loves and is personally dedicated to her job. Pets and their people are so important to her. That's so hard to find. The Docs and staff are wonderful, and caring, too.

I have been with Banfield 15 years. I used the wellness plan primarily to reduce cost of teeth cleaning. Their basic service was adequate for my needs and they served me and my pet well through the years. Thanks for that. Today, after 15 good years of loyalty and devotion I decided it was time for my beloved pet to be put to sleep. Banfield Southlake was EXTREMELY accommodating sympathetic empathetic and made the bad a learning comforting experience. I was never rushed nor in the dark about the entire event. They even dimmed the lights and provided a quilted blanket to lay her on. They left the room so I could say my goodbyes. God bless my attendees at Southlake Tx facility and God bless my dear Maggie. May you find your last moments with your pet as pleasantly memorable as mine.

My dog has always received excellent care at Banfield and they've done a great job of following up with me whenever my dog is due for an appointment.

I understand the bad reviews from past. Banfield has gotten new staff. What a difference...so pleasant. Stacey greeted us and our pooch. She was extremely personable and efficient. Next came Josh Martin. He took charge and we felt he was very knowledgeable. Also, at our last visit we had Dr. Bevins (I believe). She was terrific also. It was a TOTAL turnaround.

Oh come on! Banfield has a great wellness program the dental cleanings A lone are worth the monthly payments,,the wellness program is for prevention, they check my dog twice a year for all kinds of Diseases , vaccines and a over all look at her eyes, ears and coat , and Behavior, included in the wellness program . I gave five stars in hopes of getting a top comment. Don't go here, or sign your pets on their little insurance plan. This place is terrible. They fail to see any pets during emergencies, even if you've signed up for one of their plans. I am very unimpressed and would recommend literally anywhere else.

I can only speak for Dr. Jason Long, DVM at Banfield in Avondale & Deer Valley, AZ Dr. Long is awesome & is the best!!!! He has been caring for my baby girl Lab/Greyhound for several years now & we both love him =D. I have had the top wellness plan for almost 10 years & it is well worth it. Of course it took a few years to find Dr. Long but all previously seen drs were all very competent & took good care of my best friend. I highly recommend Banfield & I have had the worst experiences with other vets in the past caring for my other dogs now at the Rainbow Bridge.

Banfield has a reputation of being sort of a McDonalds of Veterinary Hospitals -- they exist everywhere and they'll do in a pinch if nothing else is available. Some of them are good, some of them are lousy; I've been to both. The said, there are those occasional treasures that rise above the mixed-bag brand name to deliver a service that is nothing short of exceptional. Shawnee Mission Banfield is such an institution. These vets will go above and beyond to take care of your furry family member. If something is wrong, they will turn over every stone and search every obscure possibility to figure out what needs to be done and, in the off-chance they don't have the solution, they will get you in contact with the specialist who does. They will celebrate the milestones and they will hold your hand through the hurt. They have been our vet for 6 years now, and it is so important to have a team that knows your animals, prioritizes their needs, listens to your observations, and will stick it out with you till the bitter end. Granted that many of the negative reviews pertaining to Banfield as a whole are probably not wrong. However, if there's even a chance that your local Banfield is staffed with the quality of veterinary excellence that can be found at Shawnee Mission Kansas than it is well worth the look.
