Banfield Pet HospitalReviews of banfield.com

Located in PetSmart at 17035 N 7th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85023, this Banfield is next door to a Goodwill thrift center. I spoke with Brenda and she explained that her and her friend Melissa moved to Phoenix to get clean, and how their rehabilitation coach got them a job at this Banfield, she also explained how old ladies would come in with their small dogs and how she would hold them gently and give them a kiss while telling the old lady not to worry because they would take extra good care of their baby. Then in the back that small dog would be hurled hard into a small kennel cage and blasted with a spray bottle and or cleaning hose, while she and Melissa would laugh uncontrollably. Often having to come up with an excuse to the old ladies about how the pet is almost ready as it was sopping wet and shaking in the back. Brenda also claimed that some dogs were subjected to what they call rape date, or being forced into another cage with a dog to be raped. When these dogs became pregnant they enjoyed explaining to old ladies how they need to watch their dogs more closely so they don’t get out, and charging for abortive measures as many as four times in a year. Brenda also explained how some dogs died from freight or shivering and then she would have to go out front and explain that it was just their little babies’ time to go, and how time to go became code for this one dies.

The veterianiam doctor Sugar at Santa Cruz California Bansfield refused to see my cat after we actually took cat to appointment and waited for four hours because sge said cat must get a second rabbis vaccine. My cat has an urgent eye issue and De Sugar denied medical care to my poor cat. We contacted Bansfield Hospital in Campbell California and made an appointment with Dr Ferreira. Teo days before appointment her assistant calls us and says unless we vaccinate the cat second time she cannot see the cat. We went to pet eye doctor who saw and examined our cat and has not asked for any vaccines. Doctors at Bansfield hispital are cold hearted and do not care about animals. Please do not go there and do not purchase their plans. All they care about is just to give as many chemicals, medicines and vaccines to poor animals which will ultimately shorten the animal life.

Took my cat to have mass on neck addresses, was told she had kidney disease. Never addressed mass on neck. I asked if they checked her teeth, because she wasn't eating. I was charged $600.00 and they sent her home. Never told me what the mass was. After 2 week she was not getting better, so I took her back for follow up. Vet did not show up for work, they still did not address mass on neck. They had her for 5 hours. The front staff is totally incompant when I asked for print out of med records, they couldnt even figure out how to replace the toner cartridge. I then took her to All Creatures animal clinic in Keller, who removed puss from mass on neck which was coming from severely infected tooth. They also administered fluids due to severe dehydration. The poor little thing was starving to death. I had to have her put down due to infection. If I could give them a negative review I would. Negative 100. I would not even recommend taking a sick snake there.

If you havn't signed up, DON'T. They hurt my cat during poorly medical shaved, when I ask them, they gave us meds that they charged us for. No apology, no responsibility, NONE. I tried to get out of their contract because of how they treated my cat, they are charging me the $700. Run while you can.

It is a scam they charge money each month but when you actually need a real service they charge huge cost and most times not even good result and if you say you want to cancel then they say you need to pay more due to use of parts of the plan!

I HATE Banfield! There wellness plan is a scam. Their policies are dumb & pricing is ridiculous…. Why pay a monthly plan & still be overcharged for everything you take your dog in for. One of my dogs died & they won’t let me cancel his plan without a $250 cancellation fee. Stay away! Only thing good I’ll say, is the people on-site are usually very friendly & professional. Don’t sign up, wouldn’t recommend. Find you a good local vet.

Banfield quotes me one shot before I can get my dog's teeth cleaned. So I got shot from them and set appt to clean tereth. Several days later they call to tell me my dog needs more shots before they will clean. Banfield is total ripp off and all they are interested in is money.DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE WHO DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET, INLY WAYS TO GET YOU FOR MORE MONEY.

As a single disabled female at this particular location I had a really hard time. The doctors were good but the front office staff is just cold, emotionally removed and I don't know what else, colloquially 'rude.' I also don't appreciate being shouted out as if I'm deaf. There also wasn't much privacy in a hypersocialized environment and when I go into any medical office I really appreciate my space, free of anybody trying to touch me or talk to me. It's just basic common sense. It cost a hell of a lot more to actually cancel your plan so I really feel taken advantage of as well monetarily. The parking lot there is a real liability and a client is lucky when it's not busy and they can find a place. I've had negative experiences at other Banfield locations and only signed up originally because it was recommended to me. Well, things change. And they're not really a hospital and are closed on Sundays. 9 out of 10 times when I would walk in there just being a neutral nice person I wasn't even smiled at. Maybe you'll be treated like you matter. ECR/Aviara.
