We like how user-friendly the platform is and it offers many value-added services we did not previously have (performance management, employee engagement, etc.). We struggle to get personalized customer support in a timely manner and are frequently disappointed with the lack of ability to customize to meet the needs of our growing business. The ATS functionality is especially challenging with promises of upgrades that do not happen.

Because of Bamboo, I spend a fraction of previous time collaborating over candidates and onboarding those we hire. The system is smooth, simple, and has an inviting and fun design. Bamboo has also given employees control over their own information. Since employees can update their own personal information and emergency contacts, and find their own HR documents, I no longer have to receive emails for each one of those things for our hundreds of employees day after day. It maybe took one school year to get all of the staff onboard, but now that we have, there are never any complaints about the system. It's been a game-changer for our HR department and our school.

BambooHR is the best HRIS I've worked with & if something isn't already a feature, the team are easy to contact & open to ideas. The e-signatures are handy & staff find it very easy to use. Five-stars!

Great HRIS Solution Bamboo was easy to implement and has cut down our onboarding paperwork to being almost completely paperless. It gives our new staff a positive first impression. We are now using it for performance management and goal setting which has been great. We are nationally accredited and have to be licensed by several state agencies all of which have been very complimentary of Bamboo.

All components integrate seamlessly. Bamboo provides a wide range of reports, very helpful.

After almost 4 years as a loyal customer, they restructured their subscription packages moving us from top tier to mid tier and moving some of the add-on features we were paying extra for into the top tier. At that point they told us that unless we upgraded with a 75% price increase we would no longer receive upgrades to those features. The point of subscription software is that we are paying for the continual development and upgrades. It is totally not ok to force existing customers to pay monthly for legacy software. I tried to negotiate with them and ask for some kind of compromise, like grandfathering us into top tier only for those features or perhaps a discount on top tier for a period of time. They absolutely refused to work with me, straight up refused to let me talk to a manager, insisted that I had to take the full price increase to retain updates for the features I'd already been using for years. When I told them that was a terrible way to treat a loyal customer and that I would take my business elsewhere they were fine with it. Perhaps because we are a small business, they don't see it worth their time to keep us as a customer. I would warn everyone away from BambooHR as you can't trust the prices they tell you you'll pay. Unreliable, unethical, and awful way to treat loyal customers. From a company that preaches about treating people well from an HR perspective, they sure don't understand how to treat customers.

It provided us an easy to use and secure platform for all employee information, policies, onboarding, and more.
