I used to buy Big Fork sausages from a local grocery store for $6.99 per package. They stopped selling them. I could not find anyone else in the area that carries them. So I ordered them from Bacon Freak because you can't order them from Big Fork directly. Big Fork is in Chicago. I'm in Ohio. Bacon Freak is in California. So I ended up paying $11.99 per package for sausage that went from Chicago to California and then back to Ohio. I got home from work to find a box of almost warm sausage on my front porch. They are great sausages, but that is too much to pay for great sausage that MIGHT be cold.

only reason for 4 Stars is that when the package arrived the sausage was already thawed and the ice packs where only cool. Other that that it was great,

They did ship the wrong shipment intially.. But they responded very quickly to fix the situation. And my brother in law said the quality was fantastic!

Absolutely no problem! I would choose bacon from them again.

Poor packaging :( Package arrived quickly, but the inside of the box was filled with gel from the cold pack, which had a big slice in it (as if from a Razor). It leaked while thawing, when in transit. All product labels (except the packages of jerky, which was in another plastic bag) were wet with the gel. I washed it off, but a few small gift items were unusable. I did not report this to the Customer service department, although I should have. (I have photos!)
