Hi Jana, Thank you for the review. So sorry you weren't happy with your initial order. The first set of bacon's sent out were our dry cured bacon's. Dry cured bacon is salted. They have a shelf stable life up to 90 days with out refrigeration because of this curing. . I've got a great tip to desalt bacon if it's too salty for you. First, I would put the bacon in a heat proof bowl. Then pour some freshly boiled water over the bacon till it is well covered. Stir it and let it sit for 2 minutes. Drain and do all over again except let it sit now for 1 minute. When that's done, rinse and drain the bacon then pat it dry. Hope that helps. Have a wonderful day.

We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with our maple flavored bacon. I can tell you we have not changed the recipe over the years, we still use real maple syrup to flavor these bacons. There will be some variation as there is some differences in the pork belly and syrup that is used to craft each batch. Nevertheless, please contact us if you would like to give us another chance and we will send you a store credit for 2 packs of bacon.

Hi Jeff, So sorry to hear your package was received warm. The transit time from our distribution center to your residence was 2 days. Normally our thermal packaging and gel-packs provide adequate insulation to ensure delivery of our perishable products in a chilled and safe condition for up to 3 days transit. We have used this system along with USPS priority mail for several years with overwhelmingly good success. In rare instances, we have found that either the weather has been extreme or the packaging was damaged or defective. In these cases, we stand behind our service and either replace or refund our valued customers.
