Red leatherback baby bearded…
Ordered red leatherback baby bearded dragon about 3 weeks ago. Lizard arrived in a tiny box, inside a deli cup with just a paper towel. No insulation. No markers on the box informing post office that it contained a live animal. Who knows how much she got banged around. She refused to eat the first week we had her, was starting to lose hope but switched her diet and saw immediate improvement though she seems stunted and isn't growing nearly as fast as our other juvenile male. She doesn't seem to understand the concept of a hide and sleeps on top of the log in her enclosure and is very clingy, is it possible to ship them too young? She also seems to want to be back inside of a cup and I have a strong suspicion that she was kept in one even before we got her. I would avoid ordering from this company. They claim ethical standards yet they sell silkies with no warnings to new reptile owners. Would be much better off finding a local reputable breeder.
