I have been a loyal Avenue customer for many years. I placed an order of 7 items on 4/3/23. My order was “in fulfillment” status for 9 days. Today I received an email saying ALL 7 items were “out of stock”, my order was being canceled, and my money refunded. RIDICULOUS! What has happened to this company?

If I could I would give them NEGATIVE stars. I tried to get a Credit card they said to call for the information they needed. Then I called and said they don't know what to do. They know nothing. I spent 20 minutes trying to get a hold of them. They have don't have people with brains working there. I do NOT recommend shopping there or getting a credit card with this store.

Do not purchase from avenue. they do not stand behind their products. Terrible communication. No one can give you a straight answer.

I have ordered this past year a few times from Avenue. Their clothing is really nice but their process is the WORST. I have placed my order online and it then just sits for 3 days "saying in Fulfillment" I call customer service who tells me they are "looking for an item to complete process and she will expedite it. Two days later I get an email Order being sent and 3 items OUT OF STOCK. This has happened now 3 times. Did not the customer service see my items were OUT OF STOCK????? Beware when ordering . IF you are counting on receiving an item like I was you will be VERY DISAPPOINNTED

sent me the COMPLETELY wrong jacket then asked to return it to China? Back and forth with customer service then gave up and disputed the charge with my credit card company

Wish I could write them a zero. I shopped at them for years and years and loved them. The past 5 years or so, customer service is garbage. I received damage clothing and when I brought it to their attention I was told that because I had clipped off the price tag and taken it out of its wrapper, it was considered used and I couldn't return it. I had another thing that didn't fit but they also refused to return that item. I will not shop with them ever again.

Surprised by these reviews honestly. The clothes I ordered were shipped the day after my order was placed & I received an email with tracking number. Probably only took a week to get my stuff. Anyways, this place has way cuter styles than Torrid at a much more affordable price point. Happy so far.

I love City Chic dresses and avenue posted a discount on a dress I wanted. Total was about $30 discount. I purchased the dress and a few days it was canceled saying the dress was sold out. I continued to look at the site daily and it never showed the dress was out of stock. I contacted customer care and an associate said purchase again and provide the order number and they would refund the difference. I did this and never received a discount. I emailed and called another associate said they were just behind and another emailed saying they were not going to honor what they had promised. I’ll eat the shipping and will be returning the dress. Either the associates are Morons or not trained to do their job correctly.
