Booked flight for a 7:45 takeoff and was notified at 10:30pm the night before that flight was delayed 15 hrs. That cost me my hotel reservation a rental car cost since they were non refundable. Tried calling their "customer service" and had 135 people ahead of me due to " longer than usual response time". Pressed 1 for call back prompt numerous times with no call back. Rebooked a week later at 2x the airfare. Booked carry-on then did not need carry-on but the will not refund money to credit card. Gave me $230.00 avelo cash which has to be used within a year on their flights or they keep your cash. So u have to use their shit airline or default.This airline is a total scam. The will not work with customers. Buyers beware!! If u want a decent low fare airline check out Breeze. More professional customer service and more bang for your buck.

Oh my God, this was the worst flight experience I’ve ever had. Avelo Airlines delayed our flight multiple times, from 5:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. I will never fly with this airline again.

Avelo Airline is a scam and ripped off airline. Recently I've booked a 1 way flight going to New Haven, CT for $498.94 and canceled within 2hrs after. I've tried to call their customer service for assistance and waited for hours on the phone. The airline didn't refund and didn't give me any flight credit back. The reason i'm posting this cause i don't want anyone to happening like me. If anyone seeing my review.. please share and be careful not to flying with Avelo Airline

I rarely give one star reviews. Avelo Airlines created a total nightmare for me. I flew to New Haven CT and was told my flight was delayed until the next day. Then delayed later again that day, due technical issues, then at the airport, delayed again. Then after being at the tiny airport for over 6 hrs already, and after midnight, told it was canceleled until next morning due to no staff. All customers were told to leave the airport. After 1am, I finally arrived at an overpriced hotel. I have reached out to Avelo 4x for hotel reimbursement and they refuse and have given me a credit to fly with them again. Absolutely no way! Why would I waste my time and money, not to mention loss in wages and additional transportation costs tonthen fly with them again. Isn't there any kind of rule/ law that has checks and balances for an airline to do this to customers?

I used this aéreo line since they start at Lakeland airport..in the beginning their great buy know is awful.. they want to charge even for the baby dripper bag..

Total trash airlines. Dont book any flights. Never ever. Garbage. You just gonna lose your money.

I would give it zero stars. I cancelled my flight and they kept $228. After paying 576 for a round trip because they claimed I didn’t call to cancel. I called and waited 1 hour and 30 minutes to cancel and then I called and waited 2.5 hours to be told we are keeping your 228 dollars. I never flew and no credit toward another flight. Stay away!
