Aveda has the worst customer service possible and does not value loyalty. The product is expensive and subpar and there are much better products out there for every hair type. I would never recommend Aveda to anyone with their high prices and poor quality products

I ordered online a hairbrush and hair product. As soon as I completed my order I noticed that it was being sent to my home address automatically. I intended to have it delivered to another address( granddaughter) and I quickly tried to correct by following instructions on how to do this. It took me probably no more than 10 min to reach customer service and to my shock it was too late….couldn’t change delivery address nor could I cancel the order!! Customer service person just kept responding with robotic company policy replies. Never again! No other product sales companies have such limitations. Bad Aveda!

If I could give them a '0' I would. I purchased a few items online during a sale along with a $10 Membership. They charged me for 2 memberships. Two boxes arrived - one with an item I ordered , the other with some random item. I called. They informed me "Keep the unordered item. You will receive the other item that is on back order soon." Later I received two boxes - one of which I had ordered and so I had what I originally ordered. But then a few days later I was charged for these two itemst atmuch higher prices than what I originally spent. I called. I emailed. Hours wasted. They replied. I emailed all the specific bank transaction numbers they requested. Nothing happened. I called again. More time wasted. I received an email today and they stated they found nothing irregular and did not credit my account for the $97.00 they owe me. I also never received any 'Welcome to your membership' details or acknowledment of the membership they charged me twice for! After all this time and rigamarole they think I will just give up. Not in the least bit true. I will leave unfavorable reviews every chance I can, written or verbal to warn people, request my bank file a claim, and contact my attorney general. I'm not finished yet. This feels like an orchestrated SCAM. No more Aveda for me.

My favorite hair place — Erum is great ! Erum is an amazing hair stylist — so talented, so gentle, and she really listens. She always knows exactly what suits me. And the lovely lady Rosalinda who does my head massage and treatment — her hands are healing! Such a relaxing massage, I feel so calm and my hair feels so soft after treatment. Both of them are so kind, professional, and make me feel beautiful and pampered every time. Highly recommended! Thank you Erum and team ❤️

I’ve tried so many different shampoos over the years including some much more expensive ones and none of them really worked for me. Finding the Aveda Rosemary Mint Purifying shampoo and conditioner has been a total game-changer. My hair is straight, dark, and starting to show a few silver strands. Before using this, I was dealing with quite a bit of hair fall, which has improved noticeably. But the best part is how fresh, smooth, and easy to comb my hair feels every single day. I’ve tried other lines from Aveda like Cherry Almond and Nurturing, but Rosemary Mint is by far my favourite. So glad I finally found the one that works!

Buyer Beware: Aveda Wiped 35k Loyalty Points with Zero Warning I am deeply disappointed by Aveda and their parent company, Estée Lauder. I recently discovered that Aveda wiped out my entire balance of 35,000 loyalty points simply because I did not make a purchase within a 12-month window. What makes this completely unacceptable is that I was never sent a single warning, email notification, or reminder that my points were at risk of expiring. Wiping out 30 years of accumulated loyalty and hundreds of dollars of value without notice is incredibly predatory.I escalated this directly to an Aveda support supervisor and even called corporate at Estée Lauder, but supervisor refused to reinstate my points or show any flexibility for a long-time customer. Estee' Lauder rep disconnected me because no one was available to talk with. Aveda clearly does not care about customer loyalty once they have your money. Track your dates closely, or better yet, take your business to brands that actually communicate with and respect their customers.

Aveda, this is what 13+ years of loyalty gets you? I accumulated 50,000+ rewards points over more than 13 years, only to have them expire. When I challenged this, Aveda claimed reminder emails were sent — yet has provided no evidence of when they were sent, what they contained, or that they were ever delivered. After repeated requests, I’ve received nothing but the same policy quoted back to me. No meaningful investigation. No goodwill. No resolution. It’s remarkable how quickly 13 years of customer loyalty can be reduced to an automated email and a copy-pasted policy. Very disappointing customer service from a brand I have supported for over a decade.

Very annoying: I’m still unhappy about the change of Naturally straight to a vegan product. The original product worked on my 4C hair but the new formula does not work. Just annoyed about companies moving to vegan or silicon free. There are more of us out here not interested in veganism and like the protection silicon gives our hair. Aveda has lost a lot of 4C hair users and believe me most of us want a product like the original naturally straight. A big market lost.
