I wanted very much to post something …
I wanted very much to post something positive and had hoped for a better outcome. This was our first experience with Direct Express Auto Transport. Unfortunately we did not understand nor was it explained how the auto transport system works. I had initially gone with them after reading on multiple positive reviews. We moved from MA to Fl. I was informed by the representative at Direct Express , Kelly that, Direct Auto tries to locate a driver with 7 to 10 days of the day requested. What was good was the price. What we did not now was that a low price relegates one to the bottom of the matrix system . This was not explained. More checking resulted in information provided to us explaining and showing us where our request was located on this system. Which was at the bottom. Had Direct Express explained this or reviewed this with me, we would have been able to make a more informed decision. After 12 days I requested to cancel the order, which was cancelled after the 2nd request. If you think a car can be sent from New England to Florida for $600 think again , it can't. A low ball quote without a clear explanation to you will leave you in the dark. We wound up paying $1200 and actually having the car be transported within 2 1/2 days. Do your homework, ask questions. For Direct , I would strongly encourage the company to share with prospective clients to please explain how this matrix system works so you do not waste weeks of time.
