unintuitive bloated slow software
Words cannot describe how-user unfriendly their programs are. It's doesn't feel like you're using a program, it feels like you're programming the program to be able to use it. Plus its very expensive for what it is. If you tried the alternatives (archicad, vectorworks,...) you know what I mean. edit: About revit: Yesterday I had to make a printscreen of a section, copy it to paint and save as jpeg, then load it into sketchup, and finally I could measure an angle. I had to do this because revit constantly froze, it was only using 25% of cpu. Turns out Revit can only use one core! How long do we have multi-core cpu's now? more then 10 years? Amateurs!

Autodesk is one of the leading software company in the 3d design field. My job involves 3d printing and we use Autodesk's products every day. Autodesk's fair pricing policy provides small businesses to use their products for free in full versions.

Autocad is extremely frustrating
Autocad is the most frustrating piece of software ever made. It gets stucked 50 times a day since the developers build layer after layer based on software principles dating back to the 80ies, without ever fixing the endless list of bugs. Strongly recommend Vectorworks or Archicad over the graphically poor working Autocad

Software Pirate? Yes it seems, until you can prove you're not!!
It seems that Autodesk invests so little in securing their own product that, in order to combat piracy, their license agreement includes a section in which you grant them access to all your network machines (and beyond one assumes) and any contained files and information just so that you can prove to them your are not a thief and are using this software legitimately. This having already suffered the ludicrously high price to pay for it in the first place!. Get a grip Autodesk. There are many ways to use machine level authentication without accusing all your customers of being software pirates until such time as they can prove to you, after downloading and installing your own scanning software, that they are not!! Hugely outdated process and an unnecessary intrusion in to what could be (and is in my case) commercially sensitive data. As this review is for Autodesk and not the AutoCAD product, I can only comment on that.

Industry standard programs for students to learn from and more importantly create from! I will forever use Autodesk. If I could give 10* I would!

Tilmeld IKKE "auto renewal" (automatisk fornyelse)
Gode programmer - kan hvad de skal. MEN - tilmelder du dig automatisk betaling skal du igennem en jungel for at blive afmeldt igen. Den eneste måde at kommunikere med Autodesk (hvis du har købt online) er skriftligt. Jeg kan se frem til en fornyelse af programmet uden at have brug for det.....
